1944 Northpoint Blvd, Hixson“I usually buy all my home improvement project supplies at 'Homie Depot' or Lowe's. Of course, I never miss the garden section since I am such a lover of flowers and plants. We recently moved, and I converted the front hall closet into a pantry since the kitchen didn't have one. The room I converted was attached to the kitchen, so it made more sense to be a pantry instead of a coat closet. I'm not sure why the complex didn't just convert it themselves. They tend not to want to spend any money on upgrades, but I did ask. The room sizes in apartments here in Tennessee are smaller than what I am accustomed to, so utilizing every inch of space in an efficient way is essential. I wanted to accomplish making an efficient space with shelves, hooks, and bins, and doing it by making the conversion temporary. I did not want to have to 'put it back' so to speak when I moved out. Mission accomplished. So I chose several of these cool black wire 3-shelf goodies which came in a box that was VERY lightweight to carry. I'm not very handy when it comes to assembling anything [especially IKEA furniture lol], but these shelving units were a cinch. There were even YouTube videos showing the complete assembly done by several YouTubers. There are many more larger sizes to choose from, but this one worked so well, and was manageable for me. I bought one more to use against the end of the kitchen cabinets and it looks very modern. I use this one to house decorative kitchen pieces and frequently-used items. With the already-existing shelf in the closet, these worked out perfectly for what I needed to store, as well as it freeing up space in the limited amount of cabinets in the kitchen. Actually, I got quite good at assembling these. So good that I ended up buying several more of these units for my huuuuuugeeeeee walk-in closet!”
“Nice people who seem to love plants. We bought pots and plants and while they repotted the plant, they told us how to care for them to keep them healthy.
They also had some inspirational garden decor.”
“Ordered a small tree in a 2-gallon container and was extremely pleased with my purchase. The tree was beautiful and in good health, and the price was very reasonable. The care they took in packaging it for shipment was the best I have ever seen. They even hand wrote a note on the top of the box asking the shipper to not leave it in the sun. I highly recommend America's Gardens nursery.”
“We absolutely love this place! They have beautiful trails for hiking or even driving on, canoeing and native plants you can purchase. Cory Hagen took us on a tour to see the red wolves, bobcat, and sand hill crane. He was very knowledgeable. We walked on several trails around and past the lake and saw the beautiful wildflowers in bloom. Everyone here was so nice and friendly. We hope to come back soon!”

“Best farmers market in Chattanooga, TN. Wonderful vendors...local farmers, local bakery, local cheese, local chocolate, local kambucha, local meats, local flowers... Everything is fresh and the best quality. They take cash or credit cards, some do Venmo. Support small business.”
“Home Depot always has what I need. Better than Lowe's in my experience. Even if HD doesn't have what I need Lowe's is right next to it so I just go to both”
“First of all I would like to thank you all for my beautiful cabinets, the young man name Silas Lamons he did an awesome job am very pleased with the job thank yall again!!”
“I'm not sure what's more impressive, the vast selection of power tools or the chiseled jawlines of the staff. Okay, fine, it's the tools... but the staff is a close second!
Seriously though, I've had some amazing experiences at Home Depot. The employees are always willing to lend a helping hand (or a strong arm to carry my heavy purchases). And let's be real, who doesn't love a good "hammer time" joke from a handsome helper?
But in all seriousness, the staff at HD are knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile. They're like the ultimate DIY wingmen - they've got my back (and my project) covered.
Of course, there are some areas for improvement. The checkout lines can be a bit of a "screw-up" (sorry, had to!), and don't even get me started on the parking lot - it's like they want me to "drill" into another car.
All joking aside, Home Depot is my go-to for all things DIY. And if I happen to get a little "screwed up" in the process, well, that's just a bonus.”
“A very well-run Home Improvement Center with a fair pricing structure and Personnel that are willing to help you not only find but load your purchases for you. I feel their Garden Center and related products are the best in town. The only downside that I could state is that during the supper hour they were very short personnel at the checkout for the garden center. You think that would be one place that they would want to be sure that both checkouts were manned particularly this time of year.”
