Dr.Jill really shows compassion. Especially for someone with mental illness. I really do appreciate you helping me, and the front desk girls are always so nice! Highly recommend!!

I have been waiting 3 days for someone at this office to call in a prescription. I am very disappointed in this nurse practitioner and her staff. Since Jill has taken over, this practice has gone down hill.will not be going back or recommending her to anyone.I gave 2 stars because front desk girls were nice.

Shouting out Allison and Leigh Ann today for making sure a Quest staff person was there after I’d already rescheduled once for bloodwork. Also appreciative of Jill and Holly and the care I always reciceve from them.

After working with the Jill, I can tell her heart is in patient care, and she is a dedicated, highly educated provider here to provide the best care possible. I recommend seeking her help for general care, hormone pellets and aesthetics! Thank you, Jill, for being an outstanding physician, you are hard to come by!

Everyone at this practice has been amazing. Very friendly, Great nurses and doctors, And making appointments has been very easy so far. I was newly diagnosed with diabetes, and everyone has been really empathetic and helpful. Shout out to Andi Lundquist, my NP. She’s the tops!Just today, I needed a prescription sent in to my pharmacy pretty quickly and they were on it, way quicker than I thought it would happen. If you’re able to have them be your provider, you’d be making a pretty good choice!

Just got my first mid-life physical. The best way I can describe Dr. Jill and her staff is that when you walk into the office it's sort of like "going home", as if she and everyone else already knew you (kinda spooky ?). Absolutely wonderful people, and insightful. Dr. Jill has a natural gift of educating you as opposed to just telling you what to do.

Let me start by saying that I would give zero stars for Hermitage Family Practice if that were possible. My parents, brothers and I began seeing Dr. Steven Kinney in the late ‘80’s after moving to Tennessee. My parents grew to love the man and it was obvious he cared for them as well. Dr. Kinney is a wonderful caring doctor, he is a very good person and I hope he is thriving in retirement. However, he is probably ashamed by what has become of his practice since his departure.Since Dr. K’s retirement my mother has seen a revolving door of doctors and nurses with no consistency. Now, there isn’t even a doctor on location. That’s right folks, there is an “Offsite Supervisor” M.D., but no doctor in the office; Dr. Kinney is retired, Dr. Manning is ???, Dr. Paer-Mullan has moved on, etc.My elderly mother is the only person in my family still going to Hermitage Family Practice, but that will soon change. A few years back the Nurse Practitioner made a big change to one of my mom’s medications without explaining the details of the change and it nearly killed her. The ER doctor stated that if my mother hadn’t lived with us she most likely would’ve died. Mom spent over a week in the hospital and when asked how this could’ve happened the NP seemed offended that I would even ask such a question. Regardless of this incident mom wanted to stay with this office as switching doctors offices seemed a big P.I.T.A. to her.I’ve attended many appointments with her since then and with few exceptions the staff really doesn’t seem to care if we’re there or not. They cancelled one appointment while we stood outside their door repeatedly trying to call them per their COVID check in process. Now today, a weekday that they’re usually open, I call the office and the phone system is set to “Away” with no way to leave a message. Even their answering service refused to take a message, but they were kind enough to explain that the office was closed today.I’m done…with this review AND with this no doctor Doctor’s Office.

I have been going to Hermitage Family Practice since I was a teenager, I am currently 37 years old. Obviously, I miss Dr.Kinney but have accepted the changes since they can usually get me in on short notice and have always took care of my needs. My recent experience was not so good. I called on Monday (8/16/21) and got an last minute appointment due to a really bad sinus infection (possible strep). They treated me in my car which was expected. No temperature check or blood pressure check was completed. They did a rapid covid and strep test which were both negative. They sent me home with no medication and told me to treat myself as if I had covid. What? I went home and rested. The following day I had developed a migraine which caused pain to move my eyes. I called the nurse to explain my symptoms were getting worse and not improving with over the counter allergy medication. The nurse practitioner, Jill, recommended a zpack and said to call back in 4 days if no improvement. I continued the allergy medication along with the zpack and additional allergy cold and sinus. I was unable to work all week due to the severe sinus infection. Called on Friday to learn that the office was closed. Their hours are 7:30am-5:00pm on Friday. I even drove to the office to find the doors locked. How disappointing! I was never informed that they would not be available to help, if needed, on Friday because they were closed. Their answering service was also unaware that they were closed. I left a message for someone to call me because I was not feeling well. I never received a call back from anyone.I ended up at an urgent care facility on Friday (8/20/21). I requested a steroid shot to help relieve the pressure pain in my head. During my visit, I learned that my blood pressure was 162/102. Interesting since my blood pressure was never checked at Hermitage Family Practice since I was treated as if I had covid. I received a small dose of a steroid shot and rested all weekend. On Monday (8/23/21), I woke up with zero improvement and upset that I have not been properly treated for an entire week. I called and requested to be seen in the doctor office if I can test negative for covid a second time. I was negative for covid so they finally allowed me into their office. I addressed my sinus infection symptoms and my recent high blood pressure. Jill gave me blood pressure medication, had me rest for 15 minutes, rechecked it then sent me home after some blood work was drawn. She told me to buy a blood pressure monitor and monitor my pressure at home. She did not acknowledge or treat my sinus infection. She also failed to acknowledge that my blood may be increased due to all the sinus medication I've been taking at home to treat myself.I called the nurse on Tuesday (8/24/21) with an update on my documented blood pressure report which was around 147/97 - 157/101. Jill prescribed me blood pressure medication and told me to come back in a month. Still no treatment for my sinus infection.I could not stay in bed another week so I made an appointment with a new doctor. I was seen on Thursday (8/26/21) and was finally treated for my sinus infection. I was prescribed two antibiotics (Levocetirizine and Levofloxacin). I finally felt normal again by Monday (8/30/21). I should not have been sick with a sinus infection for TWO WEEKS. Jill dropped the ball with my treatment. The new doctor also was not comfortable with me taking blood pressure medication until I could be evaluated after no longer taking sinus medication. I will go back to Dr.Scott Major in 2 weeks to get rechecked for my blood pressure. I highly recommend Dr.Major if you're looking for a doctor similar to Dr.Kinney.I will not be going back to Hermitage Family Practice for any reason. They no longer provide the care that is needed when you're sick.

Allison at the front desk is super helpful and nice. I've been going here for several years. They are now out of my network but I'm going to continue to go here and pay out of pocket (thanks Obama Care ?).

I most definitely can say the practice has changed since Dr Kinney has left unfortunately I believe this is due to physician oversight! it is hurtful that the physician is not more proactive and involved!however the staff is very caring and works hard to maintain the relationship that has been put in place prior to Dr Kinney leavingimprovement is most definitely required and needed!#patient over 14 yearsteamwork reflects leadership!i’m done.

This was my first visit at HFP and was extremely hesitant because I have not had good luck finding a new provider. Went in for my appointment and first thing is they are on top of keeping things Covid free. Had my temp checked before I could come in.
