My sister and I were in The Trendy Trunk yesterday, and we had a great shopping experience. I think it’s one of the best boutiques in Hendersonville. It has become one of my go-to shops to buy gifts for friends/family or shop for myself! Can’t wait to shop here again!

By far, my absolute favorite shop for all things jewelry and home decor! They even have a large section of cute boutique clothing! Truly just a variety of everything! They always have the most neat and adorable little knick-knacks! When I need to go gift shopping or even just needing a little retail therapy, The Trendy Trunk is at the very top of my list because they have SO many options! ? Obsessed!!

My first visit to this business today was such a treat. I went in looking for Tyler Candle Company laundry detergent and was so suprised at the variety of options that they had. I even stumbled across a whole display of Nora Fleming charms to surprise my MIL with. Staff were all extremely kind and helpful. This is the cutest store and my new go-to for gift getting! (Plus a sweet little first time shopper gift! ?)

At first glance this is a pretty little necklace. However, it is rhodium plated over base metal. Rhodium plating is a wonderful way to brighten sterling silver and keep it from tarnishing. It is also used on white gold to brighten the color. This necklace is made of a base alloy metal with a very thin plating. At first, I thought the silver had become tarnished from sitting in the shop. Then I read the package insert and realized there is no silver in the necklace. There is no way to bring the luster back to the chain because the plating rubs off easily (as noted in the care instructions). The rhodium around the pearl appears to be painted on and a little piece flaked off easily when I took it out of the box. The packaging is beautiful and the "Survivor" message is what caught my friend's eye and caused him to buy it as a Christmas gift for me. If the necklace had been made with quality materials and workmanship, it would have been beautiful. Worse than the disappointing necklace is the total absence of customer service at the Trendy Truck. Their policy is no returns or exchanges without a receipt even after Christmas. They would not even exchange it for the amount of the lowest sale price. I definitely understand the need for small shops to minimize returns, but all shops should expect some receiptless exchanges after Christmas. Offering gift receipts is not a guarantee that the recipient will receive one with the item. So instead of fostering goodwill and two repeat customers, they lost a larger sale today and any possibility of repeat business from either of us.

The ladies here are always very nice and helpful. I have placed orders over the phone, online, and in store. Same great experience each time. They always have what I'm looking for as well. For these reasons, I highly recommend this business

They carry a large selection of Pandora charms, bracelets and other items. They have a fantastic selection of cards,candles and many many other gift items. This is the main place for me to purchase gifts for my fiance, which she loves.

Trendy Trunk is my go to place for gifts and things for me too. If you can’t find what you need in Trendy, it’s you, not Trendy ? AND the Trendy Girls are precious as is the owner. This fabulous boutique is also “Nannie Approved”. Nannie loves everything about it.
