So disappointed. Upon arrival I meet Heather the regional director for this area. I later learned through reviews that the staff I had met on my tour had all quit. On my child's first day I call to check on her and I am informed an hour prior she had been bitten by another child because he felt she was too close to him! I am unsettled that they did not contact me themselves when it occurred and wonder if they would have, had I not called first. I am even more appalled that many hours later when I pick her up his teeth marks are bruised into her arm! Obviously he bit her hard. I am told they have been working with his parents on his biting so that tells me he has bitten other children. After talking to her about it she tells me she "never, ever" wants to go back. I don't hear from his parents either. I am told he was put with her class because his teacher wasn't there. I am going to assume it's because she was apart of the multi exodus. Two days later his bite marks remain as well as her desire not to return. The cherry on top is I never received an apology or check in from the other parents and my deposit is not being refunded. The number to corporate was refused to be given.

This place is a wonderful option! It’s hard to find a place you trust that also provides high quality care. All of their staff have all been professional and kind. They seem to love what they do and our child has thrived in the time we’ve been at this facility.

Our family has been extremely pleased with The Learning Academy. All 3 of my children truly enjoy their days there and have learned so much since starting there 2 years ago. They provide great communication via phone calls and texts to update parents on anything from boo-boo reports to exciting events planned. They always go above and beyond to offer new and enriching experiences and fun activities to keep the kids involved and excited about learning. Each of my kids have made a special connection with a teacher, making it so much easier to drop off- knowing they are not only safe but happy to be there.Staff is willing to help with any behavior or learning difficulties and provide professional and caring advice. The Learning Academy is a home away from home for our kids and we truly appreciate that as we do not live near family!

This is such a wonderful child care facility. My daughter has a speech delay. Her teachers are able to provide her with the learning materials that she needs. Since attending the academy for two years now, her speech has improved greatly. The faculty and staff are very welcoming.

The Learning academy is a wonderful childcare facility. They do all things possibly to make sure the safety and security of all children in the program come first. Even in unforeseen circumstances they make sure all children’s needs are met. We love the learning academy and would never think to put out children anywhere else! Way to rock TLA❤️

We love TLA, my kids enjoy going to school. It's rare that you have kid's who whine when they don't get to go to school. Been enrolled for almost 2 years now, and my child has learned so much. From finally learning her colors, to learning how to sing new songs, to learning how to count all the way to 20 at 2 1/2 years old. All centers have there problem's, but it takes a good facility and owners to know how to work out the kinks for the children. Both of my kids are in TLA, and probably will both be there until elementary!

Our son attended this daycare for about 3 months. We enjoyed the staff and really saw our son thriving. On a Friday afternoon, we received a phone call saying they had a staffing issue and that our son would not be able to attend for up to 3 weeks. That alone was wild. I’ve never heard of a such a thing happening. We don’t have family locally so we had to drive to auburn, al so that my mother-in-law could watch our son for a week until we could find alternative care.We tried to reach out to the daycare to discuss the issue and they weren’t very apologetic. They kept talking about how hard it was to find staff like it was our problem. That’s sort of the deal, right? I pay you and I expect for you to manage the daycare properly...or so I thought.I know that we were one of about 6 families that were asked to find alternative care for a few weeks. I’m shocked that they wound even ask us to do this, but they didn’t even offer to do anything to make it right. Like how about 2 free weeks of care for the in convenience? 1 week? Something? But no, just got kicked out.We just moved here a short time ago so it really wasn’t ideal timing for my wife and I to make significant changes to our work schedules due to this company’s inability to run itself properly.I know it’s difficult to find care around here but I’d recommend find somewhere a little more reliable.

We have been so happy with this school. Our now 6 year old kindergartener attended Pre-K here, and he just loved it. Now, we have our 2 year old enrolled and he loves it as well. On the days he doesn't go to school (he's part time at the moment), he actually gets sad. He says, "Aww, come on" with his little sad face. In my opinion, that says a lot. His teacher is amazing...I don't where she gets all her energy!! And I can't say enough about the owner and the director. They are just GOOD people...not only do they genuinely care about their kids, but the families are important to them as well. We wouldn't take our son anywhere else.

Love the school. Love the staff. My child is excited about going to TLA. The first week was tuff. Everyone at TLA helped us out. Now she continues to progress. They are accommodating as well with daily reports of your child's day. Thanks TLA.

We are so happy with The Learning Academy! Our son is learning every single day and he loves his teachers! All of the staff is always friendly and genuinely wants to make sure your child is taken care of! We highly recommend this school! It’s so much more than a “daycare” the teachers and office take pride in ensuring that the children are actually learning both emotionally and socially! We also love that our sons teachers always make sure to tell us how his day was and if there’s anything, no matter big or small, they are sure to tell us! They have definitely made us feel like FAMILY here!! Thank you!

My family and I have been part of The Learning Academy family for 4 years now. My son started the center at 8 weeks and is now in the Pre-K room. He has grown so much with the help of the wonderful staff. I'm proud of the little man he has become. I have always been happy with the service and attention to detail that the staff and front office have. They always have time to discuss concerns, handle issues, and talk about how to work on your child's development in the class and at home. I would always recommend The Learning Academy to anyone looking for great child care the provides the confidence a parent wants in Kindergarten readiness.

I have been employed with The Learning Academy for almost eight years. I feel that The owner and the Assistant Director are great with children and have put love into everything they do! I love all of the teachers and how hard they work. Overall I wouldn't change anything about The Learning Academy! Our number one goal is yo create a happy. healthy, loving, safe, and caring environment. I am a firm believer that every employee at The Learning Academy loves their job and the students they teach and care for on a daily bases! THE MANAGEMENT TEAM AND STAFF ROCK!

I enrolled my oldest child into the pre-k program here in August. I chose this particular place based upon google reviews, the tour and the ability that they would be able to help my child be more than kindergarten ready. I was told that this was a three star facility. It was not. It actually had zero stars. If I had visited the tn.gov website I would have seen this. I was told that in January the pre-k students would begin to work on site reading. There was zero evidence of this ever happening. When I asked about this particular topic I was told that the teacher had not been trained on this facility’s particular curriculum and would not be allowed to peruse the subject until the training had occurred. It still had not happened in May when I withdrew my child. There is an incredibly high turn over rate for teachers. My daughter’s class alone had 2 different lead teachers and 2-4 assistant teachers with fill ins and new hires. Which is, in my opinion, not a healthy learning environment and lacks stability for a child’s mental health. The quality of care and the ability to teach does not measure up to the amount that is charged for tuition in my opinion. I feel like my child, who was already kindergarten ready, was simply not being taught. She regressed and lost a lot of her ability to focus as well as failed in the retention of new knowledge. While I will accept responsibility for not asking more questions and demanding more of her education... these are simply things that should go without saying when paying for an education at a “3 star facility with a fantastic curriculum”

The owner is fake and ignorant. She only cares about the money she makes. I worked for her at this center years ago and was never her biggest fan. I started my daughter here in hopes this center had changed, and also because Mrs. Amy would be her teacher. We love Mrs. Amy. The assistant director is horrible and has no care in the world for anything including my child. Teachers are constantly coming and going and nothing is consistent. My child was being bit constantly and nothing was done other than a failed biting action plan. The owner flat out refused to take my concerns seriously and made excuse after excuse. My child began biting as a result of the constant biting she received. When I stated that this was learned behavior, the owner said “biting is not a learned behavior!” We then received a letter in my child’s cubby about biting and listed as one of the reasons for biting was “monkey see, monkey do/copying others behavior.” Thats learned behavior!!! Lol! This place is a joke, if I’ve learned anything in this situation it’s to always trust your gut. I should have pulled my child out months ago. I wouldn’t recommend this center to my worst enemy. If you’re considering taking your child here, don’t!!! I wouldn’t have given any stars but that wasn’t an option.
