This is an excellent facility. From people playing card to an excellent workout facility and pool. Better than the one at home. And, I love the one at home. The staff is friendly and helpful. I stop in every time I'm in town.

So many great opportunities to take a variety of classes. Love the therapy pool and workouts I get, not to mention praying for the other members after every class.

Friendly staff, clean, well maintained facility. Sometimes, swiming pool has more life guards than members:)

YMCA is an excellent place to exercise, to relax, to gather. The environment is pleasant and the staff is very polited and friendly and we love the opportunity to exercise while our daughter is doing activities and is also secure. They offer a lot of different activities and many different classes. I loved to be a member!

The best Y in middle TN!! Always so so clean and the staff is always so friendly and helpful, especially Tracy and Mary!! Everyone always says hello when you come in and can help with anything! Rachel F's full body strength class is amazing! It's always so well planned and she's so knowledgeable. Victor's vinyasa yoga class is also a good one! The Y membership is definitely worth every penny!

The staff is amazing and are super supportive of my child with autism. I can get answers and support very quickly. The gyms are nice and they have both indoor/outdoor pools. I can trust my son to go play basketball while I support my daughter. There is plenty of staff monitoring and supporting. I love the family vibe I also get from this location. You should definitely join!

We have went several times and each time we went the outside pool was getting nastier and nastier. They have not cleaned the pool in 3 weeks we have been so much so my kids started breaking out from mosquitoe bites from all the bugs that is surrounding the pool. We will not be back this yr to swim which is sad for my kids.

We have been apart of the YMCA for several years. Kathryn Faith at this facility is by far the rudest employee I've ever met. My wife asked if they had the hot chocolate packets anymore. She was completely rude to my wife about the situation. She mentioned to my wife you are the second person that asked, we have never offered it. My wife had no idea I had already asked so the first person that asked was me. She begin discussing rudely to an African American female employee regarding my wife. There was absolutely no reason to be rude. My wife chatted with another employee regarding her unprofessionalism. The employee was kind enough to see if they had any under the cabinet in the coffee area. The other employee mentioned that she is always rude, and her excuse is always "I'm from California"! Honestly I don't care if she was from the moon, but there's no reason for awkwardness or rudeness over a simple question. The other employee mentioned that she usually works 4:30-8:30 so she wouldn't know if a guest, or someone happen to leave hot chocolate behind before, and that she just happened to be there. Which is true! She (Kathryn Faith) then approached her with a container saying this is the only hot chocolate we provide. She is very rude, gossipy, and unprofessional!

The staff and instructors are always friendly and encouraging. Feels like coming to a family or little village. My kids love Y play and the chance to get to exercise regularly as well as swim together is a gift. Thankful for this community!

All the classes that I've taken at the Sumner County Y have been so helpful in getting in better condition. The instructors are all very knowledgeable and are so friendly and supportive. It's such a positive, happy place to get and stay healthy and to make new friends. I'm so glad I found it!!

I took my 9 year old daughter to swim at the pool where they have an unreasonable swim test for all children to complete to show they are capable of swimming. I sat and watched countless children throughout the day cry because they couldn’t use a proper breaststroke down an Olympic size pool. Additionally, they have no accommodations for children with disabilities such as Autism where physically they can handle the task, but mentally it’s overwhelming. I’m not sure this is even legal to not have reasonable accommodations. When I asked about it, the director stated this is just the rules. So a nine year old child who can swim like any other kid cannot participate without an adult by her side or on slides with her friends at the pool this summer because she cannot pass a test due to her disability. How sad and honestly wrong, sumner county Y you do great things for the community, but this needs to be addressed. Someone has to advocate for these children.

me and my family have been going here for ever and it’s a great place my only issue is that why is a basketball gym being used for yoga and strength training classes when there are plenty of other rooms made for that purpose some days i want to go put some shots up and there’s a class in there for a hour plus i went in today and the whole gym was being used by ONE PERSON and a instructor the whole gym being reserved by one person when i always see those empty yoga rooms i thinks it’s d*** it’s bad enough the court is small but then we can’t even use it for half the day sometimes they have classes and it’s not even on the oniline website so i go there waste my time and have to leave because a basketball gym is being used for yoga
