Jenna gave my dear old Coke Cola the most wonderful Lion Cut! Was so patient and gentle with the arthritic girl.

I was a client for 5 years and just had our last appointment. Hours are posted and advertised as 9-5 on Saturday. I had a 2 pm appointment that was comfy. I asked to drop my pet off earlier to keep an appointment for myself. I was advised that is not possible and rescheduled my (human) appt. I received a text requesting that I bring my pet earlier due to a last minute cancellation, I explained that I would try but would definitely arrive no later than my confirmed appointment time. Upon arrival I am informed that they are closing early and I would need to pick my pet up by 4pm or a $35 fee would be imposed. I was very upset because I had already rescheduled my appointment to accommodate their schedule. While I was at my appointment I received a text advising that if I did not pickMy pet up by 4:15 they would leave the managers contact info taped to the door and leave my pet at the store alone, I was to text the manager and she would come back to collect my payment and give me my pet. This is horrible and a very poor way to treat a pet/clients. They have Always taken at minimum 3 hours to groom my pet , however, today magically (to accommodate THEIR needs) we’re able to do an entire full groom in 1 hour and 45 minutes. It breaks my heart that they are okay with conducting business this way. They do not abide by the hours advertised or posted and could have let me know in advance NOT when We arrive , that they plan to close early because they “made plans”. I have 10 businesses that I manage and am responsible for, I would never allow this type of treatment from anyone on any of my teams. This is inexcusable. So disappointed in Stephanie and Kathy and the manager Chelsea, it goes without saying, is a joke! I’ve saved all the texts for proof in writing. This is disgusting behavior. Don’t waste your time or money.

They made our pup look absolutely beautiful and listened to our concerns about our dog's long fur (didn't want to cut it too short). Highly recommend this place!

This place is awful. So rude. I am new to area, & wanted to ask some questions. It was so dirty, smelled badly. After waiting they ignored me, talking to each other. My little puppy will not be in a good place here. Neither will yours. Not good. Go somewhere else

My dog Copper and I just had an awesome, albeit brief, last minute experience with Southern Styles. I can't tell you how incredibly accommodating and gracious they were. Highly recommend! A+

We take our Westie and Scottie to Southern Styles on a regular basis. The owner and staff are excellent and Elizabeth consistently does an outstanding job in grooming our two boys. We've developed a great relationship with the staff over the years. My wife and I highly recommend Southern Styles Pet Salon.

I explained when I made our first appointment and again when we arrived how my dog had a traumatic event while getting his nails trimmed at the vet. I even tried some calming meds to help. The staff said they would be glad to work with us to help take care of him, and we discussed a plan for next visit but when I tried to make a second appointment was told to take my business elsewhere. So much for being willing to work with a pet and owner.!

We took our shih tzu Buddy to Southern Styles Pet Salon in Hendersonville for a grooming today. Buddy is 15 years old and so so sweet. But he struggles badly with nerves. Which is why his last groomer wouldn’t work with him any more :(. Even knowing all of that, our groomer Stephanie, being the experienced super awesome veteran in grooming that she is, did a fantastic and amazing job with him! She got him looking so cute, that my 7 yo daughter won’t leave him alone! She keeps saying “I can’t believe I get to live with a dog this cute”! Lol. Thank you to Stephanie and Southern Styles Pet Salon for being patient with our old man and helping him get the cut he deserved! So so happy with the results! And that we get to come back! I highly recommend them! Thank you!

They sent a message advising me of dog flu issues. When I tried to move my appointment so I could ensure my dog was vaccinated appropriately they said there was a $35 change fee even with 24 hours notice. They have had a change in groomers and the service has declined. I am going elsewhere.

I’ve been bringing my dog here for about 5 years. These groomers go above and beyond for my dog who is terrified of nail trimmings. Other groomers have turned her away, saying her behavior doesn’t allow them to trim her nails. But on our very first appointment at Southern Styles, they saw she was in distress and had one groomer hold her and pat her head to distract her while the other trimmed her nails. Extra care like this in the early days has led to her feeling so comfortable with them, that they can trim her nails no problem at this point. No other groomer in my area would even attempt to work with her, and Southern Styles managed to make her feel calm and comfortable all these years later. They really are special groomers!

I made a call to this pet salon checking on prices for a wash, dry, cut for my 8 pound dog. My dog has thin hair. I was quoted a price that seemed high to me. I asked if that would include trimming her nails that was an additional 5$ charge. My next question was could the appointment be made and me wait in the lobby until she was done. The response received was that I would have to wait in my car. When I figured in a 5$ tip I would be spending 70+$. That is more than a woman on a fixed income should have tospend. The take it or leave it attitude made me have a leave it and hunt for someplace else attitude.I hope someone else has enough money and finds this place reasonable for their budget.

In the beginning they were very kind, today I had a family emergency and I couldn't take my pet and they sent me a message that I had to pay a fee for not canceling the appointment on time, I have taken my two pets for more than two years and I have always left them a tip. I think this time they were a little rude to me when they tried to charge me for not showing up for an appointment. I tried to explain to them and make the appointment for another day and they told me that I had to pay a fee and it had to be in cash. They are going to lose many clients with that attitude that they have taken, for me I do not recommend anyone to go. also the prices are extremely high.
