Maddie at Petco Grooming is the BEST! My mini golden-doodle, Indy, is incredibly anxious and has had a really difficult time with past groomers. We found Maddie and she has been so patient and sweet with Indy. I can tell a big positive difference with Indy since going to Maddie and I am so grateful. And the haircuts are always perfect on her and she truly does a great job, but it means so much more when I know I trust her with taking the best care of my dog while she is there too. Thank you, Maddie!!

Here's another fish and customer service complaint. I went into this store for the first time to buy fish. My wife asked for help from the staff. We waited for about twenty minutes. As no one came to assist, I assumed they were too busy or whatever. As we left, the guy she asked for for help just looked up as we walked out with an arrogant smirk on his face. I will not return to this location in the near or distant future.

This place has no public restrooms. Truthfully it's very inconvenient. I basically had to go to another store just to use the restroom.

Today I went to this PetCo location to buy goldfish and some supplies. The employee “helping” refused to sell me goldfish. She was extremely rude and unhelpful. I will not be going back to this location.

Always helpful staff and well stocked. Called to make sure a specific product was available. Customer service was wonderful on the phone. I came into the store and walked around a bit. Found a few other items and then the one I called for. Cashier was kind and helpful. All around good experience.

Big and clean. Groomers are nice.
People at register hide out behind the one way glass at register, eating and chit chatting while people stand in line. At the right angle, you can see through the glass.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG TO GET GROOMED HERE. SUPER DANGEROUS
We used to love bringing our boy here. But then two of the best groomers left and who we were left with we weren’t impressed by.
We had zero clue our dog had a “bite history” which he’s never bitten anybody? We also remind them each time to not use the dryer as he is scared of the noise.
We dropped him off one day with a brand new groomer (she’s never groomed dogs before which was later confirmed?) and she used the dryer on our dog’s feet prior to cutting them? He got upset but didn’t bite. Then, she trimmed a ton of his nails DOWN TO THE QUIK until he bit her. His nails were all bleeding and cracked and he was in so much pain.
The employee had never met the manager until we got there to pick up our boy and saw how traumatized he was. He was panting and whining like crazy and his nails were bleeding?
They told the groomer to just get band aids and it was fine (she was bleeding pretty good) and tried to encourage her IN FRINT OF US not to go to the ER?
The head groomer said “well idk the policy so I guess bring him back in a few weeks? But yeah he does have a bite record.”
Me: uhhh we weren’t informed or else we could’ve worked with him on this or taken him somewhere else? Why did no one tell us?
Head groomer: we don’t like giving people negative feedback on their dogs so we just try and trim them quick. It’s also against our morals and not policy to use a muzzle.
DO NOT GO HERE OR GIVE YOUR MONEY. Our poor guy is still absolutely traumatized and I wish I’d left with the previous groomers. :(

Called the store and talked to the rep about the price of the fish then when we get there he don’t want to sell us certain fish when we have 3 fish tanks then he lies about the prices and tries to say they are more when we get to the store

Bought two kittens there 2.5 years ago. I didn’t even know they had kittens but they offered me 50% off all the cat stuff I wanted to buy. They’re good quality kittens. One can see the future.

The fish section used to be maintained well, but recently, it’s gone downhill. The selections are poor, and the staff takes their frustration out on their customers. I will never be back here.
