The shop is small but the owner is immense. Accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. One of my favorite places online and offline to chat music and more. Be on the lookout for their “10 @ 7” drops on Instagram!

Record shop inside a tattoo parlor! They didn't have the biggest selection but there were some unique and rare vinyls you don't often see.

This shop has become a favorite of mine lately. The inventory of vinyl is not as large as some other stores, but there are plenty of hard to find releases. The owner is knowledgeable and friendly. There is fresh inventory every time I stop in. His grading of the vinyl and covers is reliable and accurate.

Small, but mighty. For a smaller record shop there is a good variety of genres of music. Prices are fair on the older records and the owner is extremely nice.

We met Tim at a vinyl show in Clemmons, NC and he had several OMD albums that I couldn’t find anywhere. Luckily I kept his card, and we visited his store during our trip to TN. He’s got such a great collection of used and new vinyl. I scored a Kevin Morby and Laurie Anderson album that I had been seeking for a while. Tim is knowledgeable and just a cool dude. Definitely keeping this place in mind for every visit through the Volunteer State.

Elevator Vinyl is one of the best record shops I've ever visited. They have everything from classics to current records. If there is something you want and can't find, Tim is happy to order it for you if it can be found anywhere. Tim is a SUPER nice guy and EXTREMELY knowledgeable about all types of music. It's worth the drive to visit them and if you're close, it's certainly a great stop for any record enthusiasts. And if you have the itch to get a tattoo or piercing, the shop alongside there does great work too!

Great selection, reasonable prices. This shop is obviously knowledgeable about many genres, not just your usual basic record store finds. Plus you can get a tattoo while you're there!

I love this record store. They have a little of everything. Really great prices. The owner is always helpful and nice. He will gladly help you find what you're looking for especially if you tell him if there is something specific you want. It has plenty of parking and I have no issues with it being next to a tattoo shop. There is so much space. It never has distracted me or stop me from buying records. The owner is very knowledgeable about all types of music and is the go to person for records. All reasonably priced too. The owner is a genuine music fan. I wouldnt buy my record anywhere else. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Elevator Vinyl is definitely a must-visit. Tim has a depth of knowledge about many musical genres. He is easy to talk to and will make every effort to help find whatever you're looking for and get it to you either in person or through the mail. The store is always well-stocked and the prices are not outrageous. I shop there a lot and you should too!

1st I got 2 tattoos from one side of the shop which was cool then I slid over to Elevator Vinyl side of the shop and noticed that the owner Tim was show casing a lot of the same British 80s bands I loved. We started talking and turns out we were at many of the same shows in Nashville and Atlanta over the years. Now we are friends...went to a concert together leave each other funny FB messages and sometimes I even eat lunch right off the super clean spiffy healthy floors of his shop.
