Great rental company. We have never had a problem using them. We have used them 2-3 times a year over the past 3 years for vacations. The clerk Jessica is very nice. Check in/ drop off process is easy and smooth and they have great prices.

What a horrible company. I do not trust them to do business with them ever again. I got swindled on a recent online transaction and will never, ever rent from them again.

Called last night to ask if I could return my rental a night ahead because we were expecting a big snow storm overnight and I was afraid I wouldn't make it the day of the scheduled return. The operator told me they didn't have a key drop for after hour returns so I'd just have to wait until today. Sure, fine, whatever. Wake up today to a voicemail from this location telling me that "for the safety of staff and customers" they'd be closing early and I can return it to the location at the airport instead free of charge!! Lucky me!! Why wasn't that an option last night when that location is open later anyway and would've still been there to except the return? And how does that help the safety of anyone BESIDES your staff? If you know the weather is dangerous enough to leave work early, how in the absolute living hell does it make sense to now expect customers to drive even FARTHER? And I'm being generous by even calling it a rental car, it's a Kia Soul. You expect me to drive this god forsaken hamster car in life threatening weather??? And I can't even get through to a real human to explain the situation unless I want to get transferred and disconnected 30 times just to be told that I'd still have to pay for a rental extension.

Terrible, terrible, terrible! Robbed $400! We dropped the truck off at our contract drop off date and no one was there. A sign on the door said "washing cars please call...(cell number). When we called it went straight to the Budget 800 number where no one ever answers. We locked the truck, put the keys in a drop box and left. Then 3 days later they charged me a $400 late fee! I called the dealer's number...always went straight to the 800 number. I was on hold with the 800 number for over an hour on 3 separate calls. Never talked to anyone. Completed and email request. Finally got someone to email me back saying they were going to talk with the dealer then NEVER got back to me. $400 stolen from me and nothing I can do about it. PLEASE go to Uhaul.

Don’t not use this company we had rented a truck from them the truck we got was leaking in the cab and in the back on our boxes they refused to do anything about it saying we should have called road side assistance and once we brought the truck back they charged us a refueling fee even though we brought back with a full tank do not waste your time with this company

Worse service ever. Charged me for two extra days when I dropped the car off about 10 mins after it was due back. CS was rude and no help. Called the Mgr of the location to see if he would help and he told me it's my problem. Would never deal with this location ever in my life.

Do not rent a truck from this location! We reserved a truck several weeks in advance and they called us the day before pick up to inform us no truck was available. No reason, no sorry, just no truck. We had to scramble to find something for our move the next day. Go to U-Haul. They were fantastic. They gave us a better deal than Budget in the end. Don't bother trying to call management for a resolution either. They never called back. Just all around a very bad experience from Budget.

We reserved a 26' truck on March 16th to be picked up at 9:00 am on March 30th. We arrive at the Hendersonville, Tn location to pick up the truck and was informed that they didn't have a 26' truck onsite. I asked why not , we have a reservation. The guy behind the counter , I believe his name was Octavious , said that he didn't know why. He then called a few other Budget Rental places and none of them had a 26' truck. At no point did he apologize but actually wanted to know why we were upset. My wife called U-haul and they had a 26' truck available so we asked him to cancel the reservation. He said it will be $150 cancellation fee to do that. We told him he will not charge us $150 to cancel the reservation that his company breached a contract/agreement. He said yes that is the charge if we cancel. I then asked why did my reservation email say it was a $50 cancellation fee if canceled less than 48 hours before pick up time he said it didn't matter. I then called the national customer service line and explained the situation and they canceled it without any fees and were very apologetic. The Hendersonville location specifically really needs to learn customer service and need to learn how to notify people ahead of time that they cannot fulfill a customer's request especially when the request was made 2 weeks in advance.

Your employee in Hendersonville TN on Main st Charged me 288.00 after i clearly stated not to charge the card that i brought in but the one that they have on file. The Sales agent was sloppy and distracted. Asked too many non pertinent questions. I came in to pick up a reservation after having been driving all night. I asked for a big box truck. He told me, were all sold out but clearly i could see 12 of them In the back lot. Then i stated" i was told by my employer to come here so unless there is some mistake then i think you do have a box truck." He looked up my last name and then said "sorry i see your reservation now" and went on to explain "we don't just rent box trucks to anyone who walks in off the street". I was seriously offended but tired and not wanting to fight. He then asked for my form of payment. I asked him to check his records again because it was ALREADY on file! He stated "i still need a credit card Incase something happens" i replied "my employer gave you guys credit card when he reserved the vehicle." But still he argued with me that he needed my card so i gave him my cash app card. He assured me it would not be charged unless something went wrong. He then unbelievable decided to walk away from me to help another customer who was female before he had given me the keys! I then watched as he oogled and charmed her with his utmost customary service and glanced at her back side and chest as she was loading her vehicle. He spent about 20 minutes for a job that takes 5 because he was feeling himself. Then he came back I and goes "oh your still Here?" I go yes you never Gave me the keys....He scrambles behind the desk to find them and Doesn't apologize but says rather "have a good trip"

I am writing this review and have given you 5 stars because you deserve it!! As humans we forget others awesomeness and mostly comment when we want to point out others faults. I want you and your team to know that you are great! Each and every time I have used your services (which is every time I need a rental) you have been nothing less than polite, courteous, fast and friendly! I've rented many cars and moving trucks in my life. My recent rental at this location has been my best experience. The owner was very personable and not pushy with all the 'extras' that you can get through a rental company. The online reservation was easy, and I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I typically have a bad taste in my mouth when I leave places like this. But in this case I was happy with my experience.

Hendersonville,Tn.Budget did a great deal and bonuses on line.service in person really awesome. However it is.Don't try calling them .Phone never rings there or nobody answered .So rerouted back to main 800 office.No Help at all.
