I had a good experience. The vet was nice and telling what was going to be done. And gave a cost on paper.

Said in a fecal exam my dog didn't have worms, showed a picture of her feces from just 30 minutes prior to showing up with roundworms present, cells would still be visible in an exam. $75 for an exam that got me no where and gave advice like switching foods to help my puppy's weight that had been the same for 3 weeks, her not eating, and vomiting her food back up. I let them know I've tried a variety of foods and still got nowhere thats where the advice ended. I'm not coming back. Last time, they told us our cat likely had cancer. It was just an oral ulcer. You shouldn't tell people things that are devastating if you aren't sure if that's the case. it's bedside manner. I'm debating calling the veterinary licensing board.

Overall not impressed with my experiences at this animal hospital. The assistant/techs do not introduce themselves, minimal history is being asked, and they do not inform you that the exam and vaccines will be completed while your pet is in the back. As someone who has worked in veterinary medicine, I understand this being easier in some situations but communication is lacking in this practice. I was completely unaware that the exam and vaccine had already been done until the vet came into the room for the first time to discharge us. The tech informed me that my dog is cryptorchid while the vet only stated the exam was normal. I’m glad I didn’t need further explanation because none was given. I don’t doubt that this clinic has good intentions but there is room for improvement, especially with client communication.

I went on a sudden trip out of state, my baby girl GSD could not stay with the local dog sitter, this vet took her in, took 100% amazing care of her and she was so well cared for here! Absolutely ? A+ recommended by myself!

Vet was very rude with my husband when our family dog's remains we're gone. They filled out paperwork and took our cell numbers to contact us when cremation was finished only to take our money and dispose of our dog. I'd give zero stars worse vet in area. Staff has no empathy and treat people like their a bother.

Worst Animal hospital in the area. I took my family pet to them and trusted them with cremation services because I wanted to keep my dogs remains. I went to pick her up and I was informedthe disposed of my dog who was unclaimed. I paid for the service to have my dog remains. The vet was rude and told me "it's not my problem" when I became upset they threw my dog in a dumpster to rot. They refused to tell me what they did with my dog as well as refused to make the situation right or even apologize. I have spent thousands of dollars at the facility inthe past and I was treated awful and my dog is rotting somewhere in the Landfill. I am disgusted they did that to what I consider a family member. I hope that anyone reading will consider other options to avoid the hurt I have faced. The vets and staff are below sub par. If you love your pets take them to another facility. Im including a picture of a dumpster because that was my dog I cared about fait.

Worst vets in the area. I took my family dog to be cremated and the idiots threw my dog in the trash and now I can't get any part of my dog. The Vets and staff was rude. They refused to tell me where they dumped my dog. I wonder how they would feel if their family member was lost at the funeral home, because my dog was family. I would not recommend using g them for any service. They are not professional and the the Vet never even apologized told me it wasn't her problem! I regret trying them stay away. If you love your pets take them to Bell County.

Harrogate Hospital for Animals is a great place to take your fur babies. They treat them like family and are affordable as well.

I usually do not write reviews but feel I should let others know about my experience with this vet. I brought both of my dogs to this vet for the first time to get their heartworm prevention shot. I told the vet tech when she walked into the room that one of my dogs is very anxious at the vet and sometimes does growl. Overall he has never bitten anyone or hurt anyone at the vet. They took my dog out of the room and to the back room which is very concerning for an anxious dog and not good practice in my opinion. I prefer to see the exams and help keep my dog calm. When they returned my dog they stated he was very difficult and aggressive with them and he was dripping blood and covered in urine. I have no doubt he was very anxious in the back being examined, all alone, and I feel the vet tech should have listed when I warned her of his anxiety. However my biggest concern is having no idea what occurred and having my dog returned to me bleeding and covered in urine smelling foul. I will not be returning.

Fair warning for everyone. I boarded my two dogs Beau and Lily with Harrogate Hospital for Animals for 4 nights 4/18 - 4/22 so I could fly home for a family event. When I picked them up, they were absolutely covered in dirt and feces. As soon as I got home, Lily had diarrhea with FRANK blood (I mean blood was literally dripping out of her anus). I called them to see if this was noted and they said nothing had happened with them and it must have happened within the 10 minutes from when I picked them up and got home. Her anus was swollen to 2x its normal size, erythematous, and raw. I put her in the shower and discovered DRIED blood and diarrhea along her entire perineum and hind legs...that obviously doesn't happen in a 10 minute car ride home. I spoke to the practice manager who had no issue with what I told her and her only response was "Well maybe you just shouldn't board Lily. She gets anxious." I worked in a kennel for years and I know stress colitis and butts licked raw happen, but there was a clear lack of transparency and concern for the animals that we trust them to take care of. I've boarded Beau in the past with them and didn't have any issues except him coming back dirty which is easy enough to fix, but this is something else. They are lucky that I did not have to bring her for medical attention because they would have been paying for that bill. The practice manager didn't seem to care at all. Through our entire phone call she was entirely apathetic and gave me the rehearsed answers of "I can see how that can be concerning" and "I'll be sure to look into this" without ever sounding sincere in an apology. I spent good money for boarding services and got a complete lack of emotion and transparency.
