Had a lousy experience at 2 locations today until I got to this one (I browse seasonal clearance items) very courteous helpful staff, unlike the one by cowboys and the one next to get it n go. The younger generation could learn a thing or 2 from them at this location.

I have been a regular costumer at this location for my whole life. Unfortunately, over the last few years it has gotten progressively worse. They don’t ever seem to honor any of the sales advertised in the store when prices ring up incorrectly. Even after I’ve gone to show them the sign and they say “oh yeah I don’t know why it’s ringing up like that”. The last straw for me was my most recent experience. They restocked a used helium tank which I had the pleasure of buying. When I got home with it, I noticed the person before me had stolen all the balloons and ribbon out of it, and the tank was empty. I immediately tried to return it but because the seal was broken, they refused. They treated me like I was a criminal that had done something heinous. Obviously some dishonest person bought the tank, used it/took the contents out, made it look sealed, and returned it for the money. But because an employee put it back on the shelf without inspecting it - I’m out the $35 dollars! $35 is a big chunk of money to be spent on a completely useless item. Kids, if you’re reading this, Dollar General wants you to know that if you are a thief than you are better off than being honest! Thank goodness this helium tank was supposed to be used on balloons for my 30 year old husband and not some innocent precious little child that had to go without balloons because of DOLLAR GENERAL OG HARROGATE LOCATION!

One of the employees had her husband threaten to KILL ME in public, and after shopping here my entire life, I will no longer be visiting this store. If you like to live your life in peace and shop safely, I suggest you avoid it.

they are never fully stocked they put items on sale racks and won't let you get the item for the sale price
