The person in the area where you drop off donations was SO rude. I had a few bags in my hands, and she said very rudely and hateful, "What is that?" After I told her, she walked me halfway across the room, didn't even offer to take any of my bags, and pointed to the floor and said, "Put it there." If I hadn't been so shocked, I would have just taken my donation elsewhere. I will next time. I won't be taking anything there again. And she didn't even say thank you or anything else.

Recently late in the afternoon of I dropped off 3 large bags of donations. I realized after the store closing that I had unintentionally donated a brand-new boot that my daughter had only wore once. Understanding that the store would discard a single boot, I called at opening the next day to see if I could get it back. The lady on the phone was very unhelpful and said she was alone in the store and couldn't go to the back to look. So I called back at 2:30 pm and talked to a different employee. The lady said that there was a "mountain" of shoes and she also could not look. I decided to go by the store in person to see if that would change things. I got to the store around 2:45PM. I waited in the store for more than 20 minutes. I could hear the two workers in the back, sitting and talking about personal matters. Finally another customer found a bell and rang it (the store was unattended the entire time). This time the employees told me that they didn't work in shoes and couldn't look. And that I also could not look. They went on to tell me that all shoes had already been sorted and single shoes discarded. The employees in person were kind but the interaction left me upset and confused. How could there have been a mountain of shoes only 15 minutes before to no shoes now? How could 1 employee not leave the store unattended but the afternoon crew were very comfortable with that? Overall the employees were inconsiderate and unhelpful. I have always been a supporter of goodwill by donating almost monthly, nice name brand clothing and house hold goods. At this point, if the store doesn't care enough to do a small kindness for me, I do not care to support the store anymore.

Sept 26th, at about 4:00 I was shopping at the goodwill in Rockwood for different items for my Halloween display, and found some other things I liked as well. I had a buggy full of stuff to purchase. At check out I politely tried to show the cashier, an older woman with short grey hair and glasses, that two of the items were damaged. I always shop for damaged items around Halloween (for the past 20 years) because I don't want to ruin good clothes for my displays. They usually give me a little bit off if the items are damaged. If they don't, that's fine. I would never be rude about it. This cashier grabbed the items out of my hand and threw them in the trash can behind the counter. I told her I still wanted to buy them because they were for my skeletons, not for someone to wear. She said she wouldn't sell them to me. I told her I would shop elsewhere, and she said ok. I left a buggy full of stuff. I probably spend over $100 at Goodwill per month. I just spent over $100 there 2 weeks ago. I donate lots of name brand, barely worn clothing and other things all the time. I do this because I thought it helped people. But that rude cashier was unexcusable.

2020Love to look.. they've gotten so expensive considering all the items are donated.. silly prices on some things. WHO MAKES UP PRICES FOR THEIR ITEMS??!! I'D LIKE TO KNOW!!The HARRIMAN STORE has a GENTLEMAN that WORKS THERE WHO is RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, UNFRIENDLY! THIS MAKES ME NOT WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.I overheard him talking to the girl behind the cash register and she made the comment "well we want them to enjoy their time and want them to come back.."The girls that work there are so sweet and helpful it really SUCKS that he ruined the rest of my day.. I'm curious how many others days have been SABOTAGED by this hateful guy..I almost changed my mind about purchasing ANY THING THERE, but i went ahead and bought what i spent 2 hours finding, thanks to the nice girl behind the counter.HONESTLY THO.. WHO IN THE WORLD SUGGESTED HE BE MANAGER OR WHATEVER HIS TITLE IS!?!YOU MAY WANT TO RECONSIDER AND REPLACE THIS MAN! HE HAS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST HUMAN RELATIONS SKILLS.. WHEN HE CHANGES HIS BAD ATTITUDE OR IS REPLACED BY SOMEONE WITH A GENUINELY PLEASANT DEMEANOR, I WILL GLADLY BRING UP MY STAR SCORE.

You can find all kinds of things and pay a low price. You never know what you will find.

Nice people, but wayyyyy over priced. I ended up putting 80% of my items back. Would have spent more money than I did but not $7 for a faded toddler shirt. Sorry but no, that's rediculous. I think places like this raise their prices because people aren't coming in, but people don't come back for thrift stores that charge so much. ? I sure won't be back.

The prices are too high. All the stuff is donated by people who think they are helping other people who can't afford to buy at a regular store. Donate to thrift stores that help people in their time of need get the stuff they need. Prices are WAY TOO HIGH!

Donations are that to help someone maybe a student that wouldn't normally be able to afford that brand. A thrift store isn't supposed to be priced like a consignment stores! I'm sure the person who donated these could have took them to a consignment store but chose to donate them for a good cause instead. I think mgmt needs to ask themselves are they operating a thrift store ? or do they want to change their name to a consignment store? Also some of their prices are higher on used items than new products at discount outlet stores that carry name brand items. Especially during a time of covid when your community is suffering. #verydisappointing #overpriced

This is a nice quiet place to shop, I am almost always able to find what I am looking for, and sometimes a little gem that I hadn't anticipated. Low key and easy to shop. Nice people work here!
