We can't let the big guys take these small stores from us”
“Asked for paint thinner to clean a paintbrush covered in latex paint. The nice gentlemen told me to give water and a wire brush a shot instead. I did buy something else, but I appreciate them not trying to sell me something I didn't need. I'll be coming back.”
“I ordered last minute online. I called the store and asked if I could pick the item up as late as it was. We was in desperate need of the Horse Liniment. The lady that answered said she would go get it right away and have it ready for me to pick up. I arrived 2 minutes before they closed and was able to pick it up. ? The lady was never rude about it. We appreciate her doing that. This lady needs s raise. We need more people like her in the world.”
“Fast unload, was done in thirty minutes, they open at 7:15am and are first come, first serve!! The gentlemen were very nice and the woman on the phone was very informative and professional!”
“There is a lot of stuff packed into this small store. I went in for a specific item. One of the employees found it for me right away. The prices are really great, and the employees were really nice.”
“I am always impressed with this Lowe's store. The staff are always very helpful and willing to go out of their way to serve the customer. I was having a difficult time locating an item that the app says they had plenty in stock and asked an employee where it was and after some searching he found it and then went out of his way to find a cart and help load it. Thank you Lowe's Elizabethton for serving well once again.”
“My wife grew up down the road from this place. It's an old grocery and hardware store that looks like it's such in time. Lots of old items as a store displays in the hardware part. Some old Hussmann cooler cases in the grocery store part. Only one looked to be working. I'm guessing early 1960s vintage. I thought they were cool because I used to be a Hussmann factory service tech. For anyone interested, Ingersoll Rand bought Hussmann in 2000 and sold it to Panasonic in 2016. I worked for them in 2008-09. Good company, but too much road time. IR sold or spun off several companies they once owned. Bobcat and Trane were spun off. Everything else but air compressors and air tools were sold off.Anyways, enjoy the photos I took. ?”
