Was great I went in for a vape he offered me two he had on sale the place has been around for decades. I don’t think anyone can help the raised prices on gas and food mentioned by
Others and I’m sure they have to stay on top of their stuff just like everyone else.

I grabbed a chocolate fairlife milk off the shelf dated 12/4/2023. Today is 2/20/2024. He told me to grab another and I said no thank you and he was persistent to the point we got into a yelling match.

Great local convenience. New owners have raised tax prices ??I know, but maybe they can because of religious reasons, idk. Nice people who run the store. Not friendly or outgoing but not mean. It's consistent. If prices were any higher on food and beverage it would be highway robbery, so for price reasons I gave them a 3.

I wouldn't even give this place one star but I had to so I could share my story! The owner was rude to my wife and told my daughter she couldn't use the restroom unless she bought something! This was around Christmas too!

11-05-2023 On our Sunday afternoon drive with my family, we stopped at the previously named Captain Jacks in Hampton TN. Stretching my legs and walking my little four lb dog, we walked one lap around the circumference of the parking lot. A man of Indian descent started banging on the window from inside the store, speaking in such broken English that I couldn't understand him. I smiled and told him that I was sorry, but I couldn't understand him. His face twisted into a hideous gesture, and he pointed at me and very plainly managed to say, "You go home!". A woman of the same descent stepped over and tried speak to me, but I couldn't understand her either. The very rude man inside was motioning his arms around for me to leave the premises. This is after my husband had paid for our gas. This man came to my country, very minimally 'learned' my language and had the nerve to get angry with me because I couldn't understand him. Go back to where you came from, learn some basic business manners and learn to speak our language before you come back, you jerk! We don't treat people like that around here, and I hope some good old Carter County boys teach you that. I would give less than one star if that was an option. Do yourself and your family a favor and drive just up the road a bit. This angry man does not deserve your American dollars!

Gas seems to burn faster than other places. Price for gas about normal or below. They have way too many "drug" paraphernalia on display for sale. The customer service is horrible. They will talk in their native language, do not assume I'm being racist, if it were Americans I would still feel same way, the whole time they are cashing you out. Sometimes they're even on the phone talking while you're ringing out at the register. I bought lottery tickets and went to cash them in and they told me they couldn't do the cash that I would have to take tickets instead. Totally illegal. Also, on one visit I was purchasing lottery tickets and the guy just stops during me telling him what to kets I wanted and answers his phone and talks for about 5 minutes or longer. Other customers were getting frustrated too.

Captain Jacks has always been my easy place t get my gas and now a plus with all the things they hve.Very nice worker there also!!Thanks for over 20years of convinced Captain Jacks!!!!!?
