I just shopped at this store and there were three employees standing behind the customer service desk having personal conversations and three employees chatting with each other in the self checkout area occasionally helping folks self-checkout. Self-checkout was the only option as no manned checkout lanes were open. Very poor customer service, customer service employee scheduling, and management.

Ordered a grill online and did not choose assembly because I'm giving it as a gift. Arrived and they tried to give me the display model that has obviously been sitting outside.

Do not buy appliances from here, they deliver broken and say nor their problem. Delivery guys couldn't speak English set washer down in the living room and left. Terrible way to do buisness!!!

If you are going to make customers check themselves out then please don't humiliate those customers by paying someone to stand at the front in groups chatting with each other doing nothing and get paid for it... while we work for your company for free..

I’ve bought lumber at this Lowe’s many many times and there is 1 certain loader Aaron who is always helpful and helps me without question ….. just the other day he sprinted across the parking lot to help me load 16foot boards ….. THE pro loader Aaron deserves all the best Lowe’s has to offer

Terrible experience. Ordered a new fridge and was told it was on backorder. Should arrive in 2-3 weeks. Month goes by without a phone call or communication. Finally call the store and they tell me the vendor is no longer supplying the item. Lowes does nothing to offer further assistance.

This Lowes is embarrassing. They make up lies that don't even make sense, that would imply people are working against their own best interest. They will tell you anything even if it's an obvious lie that makes them look stupid, the evidence of their lies could be right out in the open but for some reason it doesn't matter. I don't understand why Lowe's keeps these people hired. I have never dealt with such spineless incompetent people in my life and I hope I never have to again.

Absolutely LOVE this Lowes because I appreciate employees who are always so friendly, courteous & helpful every time I'm there. Just today, 3 different areas of the store with 3 very helpful employees as well as Mrs. Kim F. at the self-check out. 5 stars & definitely 2 thumbs up ?? Thank you Lowes employees!!!

It's been a year since we ordered 5 doors from here. Took 4 months to get the doors and for them to be installed. They still haven't shown up to adjust the storm door ( won't latch at all )and it's been over a year now. I'll go someplace else from now on. Unacceptable!

I’ve spent a pile of money at Lowe’s the past 15 days fixing up our new place in Bulls Gap. Everything I’ve needed they had at decent prices. Returns no problem. Floor people have been great. They honor the Veterans well. The big “box stores” get a tough rap at times but this is as close to the old hardware store you’ll find. They have been great.

I buy from Lowe's often. Many times I have been satisfied with the service and personnel at this Lowes. There are times when they frustrate me. Most of my frustration comes from either the checkout or customer service. Most of my trips to Lowe's don't require help of any kind other than paying at the register. I really don't like the self checkout being the only option at the main checkouts. I usually checkout at garden for that reason. If I have a problem I go to customer service. Sometimes customer service will have multiple employees and ignore the customer or seem put out to help. They could do better. I wouldn't have reviewed this store if I didn't think they had gone down hill and could do better.

Purchased a craftsman lawnmower. After 32 days it would not start. Went to return it for a replacement. Customer service was rude and condescending. Said it was 2 days past return date. I have spent over 100,000 with Lowe’s. Carpet, windows, and all other tools and wood. This is how they treat loyal customers. Won’t get another dime from me. Home Depot here I come. Greeneville needs a Home Depot.Updated outcome, I changed my review to 4 stars from 1 star because the manager Shawn called us and said he was very sorry and that customer service should have called him. He gave us a full refund. We will be back to purchase another lawnmower just not a craftsman. Thank you Lowe’s for taking care of loyal customers.

The last time I was there, the woman working in Returns was more focused on trying to change the price of an umbrella on their website after I already bought it while I was standing there without her knowing. She is small minded like most of Greeneville.
