September 2023 by Google user
Do yourself a favor and DON'T DO IT! In late June 2022 I got a loan and the girl at the desk explained to me that I could simply pay the interest that I owed and redo the loan each week until I paid it in full and so I got the full amount offered. When I came in that next week, that's the first payment they refused. They told me I could only pay them in full. I tried to set up any kind of payments, I tried to pay half one week and as much as I could the next couple of weeks, and they simply refused to take anything other than the full amount. So, I couldn't even make a payment at all unless it was everything all at once. When I finally had the money nearly saved and ready to pay it off in full that September 2022, I received a letter in the mail at my old address from a lawyer offering to defend me in the lawsuit against myself by cash express that I knew nothing about. So, I called the lawyer and he explained to me that a date hadn't even been set for court yet and that if I did offer to pay them in full at that moment it would be useless now that I'm already being taken to court. The best advice he could give me was to wait for a summons to court and handle it then and let him know if I needed someone to defend my case. Nearly a year later, I finally had someone contact me just before the court date in August 2023. A court date that did exactly what I had been trying to do all along.. set up a way to make payments to finally pay Cash Express. And of course now this also includes court cost. Court cost that their lawyer will lie to you about and ball park between 100 to 200 maximum and then you'll have a surprise court cost added at 250 at the end of it all. Getting a print out that explained everything that I needed to pay all together was also really difficult. I had to accept a screen shot that doesn't even mention court cost, they simply added 250 dollars to one of the checks. I definitely don't just blame them, this was my mistake for doing this in the first place. This is a lesson learned, and I only hope to help keep someone else from making the same mistake that I did. Get a personal loan at your bank or just anything other coming here. But make sure you get and keep your receipts and read the fine print if you do get a loan here. My advice is just don't do it at all. Go some place else ?

Five months ago I took out a $800 title loan on my $10,000 truck and I've been paying $200 a month on it. Somehow the amount never goes down as they say I still owe over $900. I've had to deal with these people calling me everyday either threatening to take my truck if I'm so much as a day late or trying to pressure me into taking a bigger title loan out. The girls from other locations are much nicer and tell me not to worry about their nonsense, so I plan on going to them to fix this location's mistakes.
