I’ve been coming in here for about 7 years now and I can honestly say there has never been an issue with anyone being rude or not being helpful if I’m looking for something specific. “This is what all Dollar General stores should be like. The store is spacious and clean and the store staff is friendly and helpful. Because it is a larger store it has a wider variety of merchandise in greater quantity on the shelves than most other Dollar General stores. Most Dollar General Stores appear to be working on stocking the shelves will customers are shopping. Though I understand and appreciate the business model of a "working store" while customers shop, at this location, although they do work the shelves while assisting customers, the process doesn't take up half the store with carts with product on the aisles. Although the store is a bit out of the way, it has proven to be worthwhile to make the trip for the great customer service and the fact that they have product on the shelves. One important thing to note is that this particular store doesn't have beer, but that is the only that that is missing compared to other Dollar General stores.”

“Brand spanking new store open for about a week and a half. Great folks and great selection of merchandise. Hours are 8am-10pm. It took 7 years for this area to market sweet tea and Patti's pies. Now there's finally a DGS here. What's next a Waffle House? Lol”

“While visiting friends in Portland, TN, I found out via Google that the Dollar General on Main St in Goodletsville had 11 bags of All Peach Jolly Ranchers. Went to candy aisle, no jolly Ranchers. thank Jesus for the nice, Black lady working there (Sunday, Nov 26th around 11:00am). She made it her business to help me find them, and did! “I live in Gallatin and work a block from this location. Although there are several DG stores between home and work i prefer this one to shop at. These reason is due to the awesome customer service i receive from the manager. She is not only fast and very efficient..she is also so kind and has a smile for everyone. “This Dollar General sits on Dickerson Pike close to where Nashville meets Goodlettsville. For the most part, it is your standard DG location from entry to exit. I have popped in here a few times, most recently after a few things I forgot to grab at the grocery store. While DG doesn't carry enough to be a big substitute for food items, the stuff it does carry is pretty solid. I am comfortable picking up snacks, sweets and condiments on a regular basis at DG now. This location seems smaller and a little more cramped than other locations and service can be hit and miss, along with the condition needing a little attention...but overall, decent place to swing through for random or one-off items!”

“First time at this dollar store was looking for some wireless earbuds.I asked the lady she helped me no problem, then my check out was half cash half card she then told me it was only her second day. But I would have never known she handled it like a pro she was amazing, she didn't use it only being her 2nd day as an excuse. I didn't get her name but I want her to know you rocked it girl and they are lucky to have you. Keep up the good work .”

“Nice, new store. No self checkout; hard to believe they don’t have more than one person working who is expected to stock shelves while also checking everyone out, with no bell or way to know if anyone is waiting to be checked out if he would have been stocking shelves. And this is on a busy Saturday! Dollar General makes $$, so they can afford to have more than one or two people working at a time. This guy was on top of it tho, very nice and very proficient. ????????”

“I have been utilizing the home finance & bill organizer for years & I love it! Except it has been recently revised, with less lines for tracking. The income & total section added is a bonus, however, if the company can add back the 4 lines removed, for a total of 19 lines opposed to the 15, that would be great! In fact, 20 lines would be fantastic! I'm looking forward to seeing this new revision. Thanks in advance.”
