“Always good deals for brand name products. Only issue I have with this store is that it’s so tiny. There isn’t a lot of room to even go down an isle must less turn around. They need a bigger store for sure. Every other dollar general has either gotten a facelift or a completely new store, but this one hasn’t. Friendly employees for the most part and clean.”

“This store has always been extremely clean and well stocked with plenty of variety unlike a few of the same stores closer to me. Staff has always been friendly especially tonight ... The lady at the register was collecting items for school kids going back to school by customers purchasing these selected items. “The employees of this Dollar tree are hard-working men and women I think they tolerate a lot what I have seen and walking into any Dollar tree it's very uniformed in the layout of the store. I have seen the employees pick up after customers. that probably just disrespected just because it's called a Dollar tree store I'm grateful for the employees and the store . “There were a few occasions when I didn't have enough money to pay for my groceries. The woman with the stylish glasses, which change each time I see her, kindly told me not to worry and offered to cover the remaining cost.”
“Ah the dollar and a quarter to 5 bucks store, I frequent this one for the friendly service and impulse purchases. The only thing that ever spoils a trip is horrible other people. I've witnessed people using coupons or complaining in a long line. It's the dollar tree grow up and be thankful they don't have a long stick to bust over your empty head. Also very clean store.”

“I go to the Dollar General a few times a week. I don't always go to this location as there are many others in the area. However this location has become my go to. This is the newest Dollar General that I know of within the surrounding area. This is considered one of their bigger stores, as they carry more stock than others. The workers are helpful and kind 99.9% of the time. They have new deals every week that you can view online or in a few weekly sales paper issues that are free and in view when your walk in. They accept cash, credit/debit , and SNAP/EBT. The only thing I can think of that might effect people is if the right item is a good deal that week they will probably sell out. For example last week they had 2-liter Mellow Yellows for $0.85 cents a piece. I went to 4 different Dollar General stores, but all were sold out.”
“I love the dollar tree. Although they are carrying nicer items then they charge you more for them. I will say that the one on West Market doesn't have a big selection like the one on North Roan Street. I recommend going to North Roan as opposed to going to the one on the West market. I went here not long ago and they refuse to help me or assist me to find anything. I simply asked for one specific product that I know they had carried at one point and both employees said they didn't know instead of showing me something similar or trying to even help me look for it they just completely ignored me. It appears to me that they just didn't want to do their job. Because of this, I will not go to this particular store I will go to the other one now.”
“There is two employees that work here that deserve a raise AND SO MUCH MORE,The beautiful blacked haired girl has always helped me when I come in with my children, she always has a smile on her face and I've never seen her be rude to a customer, and then the amazing man with long hair who has always been sweet and asked me how my day was, find items I couldn't find and he even helped me pay for me food when I was $1.00 over. I know dollar general gets a lot of hate but these two employees are amazing, I wish I knew there names but ether way keep up the good work, y'all are amazing .”
“I absolutely love this store. It's always clean, the shelves are well stocked and the customer service is the best thing of all. Everyone is always kind and helpful. This store in my opinion is the best of the Dollar Stores in Kingsport. I would highly suggest it to anyone.”

“Great experience with new manager. I am glad they have someone who will keep the shelves stocked. Previously I would have to wait days, weeks even months to find one thing. (I would obviously just go to another store) but hopefully with the new manager, things will run smooth. Plus, it's convenient . Always in and out. Never s long line. “What a perfect time to tell a Chrismas story...... This evening I went to the Dollar Gereral at 1033 Home Depot with the hopes of finding a Chrismas tree, I saw one on display at the window, it was 4 ft tall. I walked in to ask if they had anymore and was told no, I asked if they would be willing to sell the demo and they said no again, but it seemed to bother them that they couldn't help, without me seeing it as a problem, I asked if they would sell it to me for 25.00 and they said they would call the manager, to my surprise, the answer was YES! I was so moved because I had looked for real trees, but this year they were far and few between. It wasn't just the fact they were going to sell it to me, but the enthusiasm they displayed while boxong it up, the kindness they showed was immeasurable and I was totally moved by it that I started to cry. This year has been tough for everyone, and what I learned in the particular with Dollar General store was that kindness still exists, the love and humanity these 2 ladies displayed was almost unreal, because during these tough times, many people have forgotten how to be kind. Their names, and don't forget it, are Amiee and Crystal. Even though kindness has been hard to find, we must always remember that it still exists and God is always here with us, just look with an open heart, be kind yourself and to others and you will be surprised that it really is all around us! Thank you Amiee and Crystal, this is an experience I will never forget!! Oh and through their kindness they sold me the tree for 7.50!!! I will never forget this day at Dollar General, and what Amiee and Chrystal did for me...Remember, kindness is everywhere, you just have to open your heart :)”
“Nice employees for most part. I think lots of shoppers forget this particular "dollar" store because 2 or 3 others incorporate word "Dollar". But they offer good variety of products and pretty easy to go in and checkout.”

“Still once again best place ever. I get tested like family and they all have known me my whole life. It’s so wholesome and fun walking in. If I could give Allen 2000 stars for the job he does and work he puts in I would. He is the best employee this company could ask for he’s there from open to close most days but it always brightens my day when I get to see him! They all kept up with my pregnancy and absolutely adore my son since he’s been born. If I don’t have to shop anywhere else I won’t because the vibe and love I get from there. 10/10 recommend shopping here for whatever you need. Like I said Allen is the bestest! “What is the one and only way a general store is going to compete with the likes of the Super Walmart literally right around the corner? By beating them in the lowest prices games. I paid this Dollar Tree a visit today as I was trying to kill some time while waiting for the Bus to pick me up. I had just gone done going to Sonic's and saw this shop here. To say I was impressed was putting it mildly. Unlike other general stores I've been to, all of the isles were not cramped together. The merchandise was neatly organized. There was just the right amount of staff to assist the customers... which might I had the staff was very friendly. Shoutout to the manger Richard. If you're reading this, I'm the Joe Felix Rosenburg in the nWo attire who spoke with you about professional wrestling. Anyways back on track. But the major thing that makes this business stand out is the prices. Almost every item in the store sells for $1.25. And we're not talking small things. We're talking food. We're talking general quality of life stuff. Stuff you would not expect to find for $1.25. Here's an example. A jug of bleach. You need it for your laundry. How much did it cost at this Dollar Tree? $1.25. Do you know how much you would spend to get that same exact sized Jug of bleach? Like anywhere from about $10-$20. Let's be fair about one thing. The world these days is TOO EXPENSIVE to live in. If you're hoping to live on your own, you really need to be bringing in some money with a good job. Health Insurance? Too Expensive. Rent? Too expensive. Gas prices? Too Expensive. Food? REALLY Too Expensive. No matter what way you look at it, we tend to spend A LOT of money on the daily just to get by. This place is absolutely perfect for helping people who need something, but they don't have a lot of money to spend. They can buy what they need here, and if there's something they need that this Dollar Tree doesn't carry, they will have more money to spend elsewhere. Why? Because they saved a lot of money by shopping at Dollar Tree. I cannot state enough how awesome this place is. Let's put it this way. If you're facing financial hardship, you NEED to shop here. It's as simple as that. I'm giving this, 5 stars outta 5 stars.”
