Sadly, the wonderful lady who used to do my hair there - Natasha - is no longer there. I tried another lady there, and the first time it was okayish as Natasha's layers were still in there but today it was like mentioning how much I liked what Natasha did was somehow a no-no. A true professional would be all over trying to figure out what Natasha did that I liked so much, but no, she just said it's just depending where you are taught. She and another cutter started exchanging glances behind my back and rolling eyes. Um, that's a hard no for me. I can go to a chain for that, not a special Hair Design place. So if you are good with whatever the lady happens to know, I guess this is your place. Any wishes and a vision - don't bother!

Mitzi's Hair Design has knowledgeable stylists and stay up-to-date on current treatments. The location is very convenient and everyone there is so friendly. I come out looking like a queen every time!! Lots of male patrons as well

I can't say enough good things about this salon. Mitzi has done my hair for 30+ years. Very professional but a wonderful relaxed and fun atmosphere. I am always pleased with results. People have actually stopped and ask me who does my hair. I highly recommend Mitzi's Hair Design. You will be glad you chose them! All the stylists are top notch.

I am new to the area and needed a good stylist in a nice salon. I didn't have to look long. When I walked in asking for an appointment and the day of my appointment, Rachel made me feel very welcome and comfortable. My stylist, Dorothy, did an excellent job as well and also made me feel right at home. The entire environment/mood was casual and at ease. The facility was clean and in order as well. Very unique/interesting decor. I will be going back in 6 to 8 weeks!

I am here fromTexas working for a few months and needed a cut. Chyna did an outstanding job of what I wanted!!! It was top quality and I felt like I had known her for years! I highly recommend her!!!!

NEVER go here. EVER. couldn’t get an appointment with my normal girl in Hendersonville, and came here. It was close to home. Destroyed my hair, played musical chairs, and charged me $140 for a partial highlight that is the worst thing I’ve ever seen. Left crying because if these people. Never again.

Nice and friendly ladies, however after 6 hours wait, price went from between $65-$70 to $140. Shocked! Once I sit in the chair if it's going to be double of what I was quoted at least tell me upfront, will not be back..... there's many places to choose from.

If your looking for a AWESOME hair salon in the heart of Goodlettsville then mitzi's hair salon is the place.They are the most kind compassionate people ive met in a long time.ive had the opportunity to meet mitzi's the owner.and you couldn't ask for a better hair stylist.she's very professional in her business.she's not only kind to her customers.she treats her employee's with respect.all her hair sylist's are awesome. theres a lady name hope thompson who is really down to earth and and has a really nice sense of humor.she makes you feel at home.her business is very clean,up to date with a great atmosphere with great Christian values.they make you feel at home.And she has this really neat nostalgic style hot air popcorn maker that I Love!! that is free to use to her customers and complimentary soft drinks,coffee,and water. Free! who doesn't like free right!! So go check her out yourself, you will be glad you did.
