When I arrived to store my things my unit was locked. I had to pay an extra day for the truck. They did not know who put the lock on but cut it off first thing in the morning. They also gave me a credit to cover the extra cost for the truck. Inconvenient but they made it right.

On October 3rd, 2023, we stored personal belongings in our unit. Within 9 days, our storage unit was broken into from the TOP. Someone had jump on-top of the unit, bent back a corner of the wire mesh (like chicken wire) and dropped into our unit. EVERYTHING was stolen. The staff were unable to do anything. They were dumbfounded.How can someone get into the building without codes? WE were the only ones there when our stuff was stored. Our unit was the only one stolen from and it was within days of putting our stuff in there. Someone KNEW what was in there and when. We were targeted. They didn't break the lock and went through all the trouble to get in through the top. Plus the ceilings are 10ft tall. They must of had help.Staff is saying they are reviewing the surveillance footage but seem doubtful and it will take too long. Don't store at this location due to it's higher risk of theft.UPDATE #1: Just a few minutes ago, the Owner replied to my google review, which you can read their reply below. They stated they tried to reach me but could not. I have no record of them calling or emailing me recently with an update. I immediately emailed them asking WHEN and HOW they tried to reach me. I will post an update once I hear back from them.UPDATE #2: It has been over 1 month. No calls, emails or updates of any kind from Storage Rentals of America for my insurance claim or any findings on the security camera footage. I will reach out to them again today.Update #3: I spoke to a staff member at this location and they said unfortunately NO ONE was visible on the second floor in the security cameras. They said the cameras are placed BAD. DO NOT store at this location. It is not safe, the security is a joke and the staff will not be able to help you if something goes wrong.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. The woman up front is completely unprofessional and jumped the gun without speaking to me and had the police chase me down and question me in 100 degree Tennessee summer about trespassing when I made a reservation legitimately online..but she was too prissy or under the influence to even have the decency of speaking with her paying customer first. The customer is always right? Not in this situation. Highly disappointed I am not in great health and have a service dog and the “climate controlled” units were a blistering 97 degrees. Spend your money else where. It’s a whole different breed of people that run and manage that dump.

Any rating that’s on here more than 2-3 stars is a bought and paid for review.All the ones less than 2 stars are the accurate ones.Choose wisely.Especially if you want your units broken into.Honestly multiple have been broken into at this location.AVOID!

Very Unprofessional.My friend’s unit and several others were robbed and they were of no help. Fishy behavior to the point that we believe they are involved personally with the robberies. Reported already to Goodlettsville police and will be reporting to BBB… The lady in the office is a crackhead who loves to remind you that her uterus is shriveled and dried… tried to mouth off to us about trash while we were in the middle of cleaning up the already vandalized unit— this is after 2 weeks of back and forth them claiming to never have received the police report etc…Work with them at your own risk I’m just glad I never will.

I had great service and assistance in the rental of a storage unit. There was a professional and courteous demeanor from the customer service representative. She gave quick and thorough information that helped in the process.I can highly recommend SROA to anyone in need of storage.

They offered me a climate controlled unit on the second floor of the building after cancelling the special I had reserved for a drive up unit. Then they charged me more after I requested another drive up until It was so hot and humid inside of the storage place I was afraid that me and my moving team would faint because of the temperature, so I'm confused as to how the unit was climate controlled. It was a lot of confusion before my move in but I finally got everything taken care of after 4/5 phone calls.

Would give it negative stars if I could do not rent a unit from this place unless you want to have the manager go into your unit. Apparently on indoor units they has keys that allows them in the units, and will do so when ever they feel like it.

DO NOT PLACE YOUR BELONGINGS HERE! First off they make you pay for insurance here, but obviously your things are not secure. I've had a few things stolen from my unit, things were placed in there that I did not place there, and on top of that it was a bottle of piss in my unit as well. I explained to the manager and she had the nerve to just say well your the only one that has access to your storage. I wouldn't trust putting my things here and on top of that the workers are never in the office when they are suppose to be. Will never rent from them again!!!

I reported my unit for needing lights over a week ago and they haven't been fixed yet. No one is ever working in the office, a major pain.
