I have a grandson who has been a student at Memphis Oral School for the Death since he was six months old. With his hearing aid and the help of his teachers and therapists at MOSD, he is thriving!!!

Audiological advancements have made it possible for children with hearing loss to access sound early in life. MOSD helps children build those foundational listening skills.

What a great organization. The staff at the Memphis Oral School for the Deaf is doing incredible work in the Memphis area. Programs like the preschool program give their students such a great opportunity to learn in a structured and organized classroom setting. Keep up the great work!

From Memphis Oral School for the Deaf
Memphis Oral School for the Deaf does not run out of Kingsway Church. The mission of the Memphis Oral School for the Deaf is to empower deaf children to listen, learn, and talk. The children seeking services with MOSD do so by using assisted technology (i.e., cochlear implants, Bone Anchored Hearing Aids - BAHA's, or hearing aids). MOSD is a member of the OPTION Schools.
OPTION Schools, Inc. seeks to advance listening and spoken language education (LSL) excellence by providing information and support to programs and school leaders. Member schools and programs, individually and collectively, educate the public, professionals, and policymakers as to what is possible for children who are deaf and hard of hearing in the 21st century.
