“We had such a fun hour making hanging Christmas ornaments with Nancy today. A fantastic kid friendly experience. My kids are 5 and 7. We will go back every time we come to town. Free easy parking. Near other artisan shops. There is an excellent locals lunch spot, the split rail eats, right beside the firefly studio. Great prices. Good food. We called Nancy the week before and day before confirming she was in the studio while we were in town. She’s wonderful and made the experience so much fun!”

“AWESOME shop! I snagged a candle when we visited home last year (Springtime in the Smokies) and had to ration it, I love it so much! We were in town recently and got to stop by, and the staff was SUPER helpful, even pointing out that they carry the scent in an oil, which was lighter to fly back to Colorado with!! Great experience, and a beacon for love and light in the Smokies! Check it out!!”

“What a charming little store! The shop attendant was wearing a mask but not pressuring customers to do so. She made me feel better about wearing my own. The things for sale in the shop cover everything from kitchen gadgets and mugs to garden decorations and snacks. I stopped in a few times on my visit, and I recommend you check it out!”

“Received my island yesterday. So happy with the craftsmanship. Ordered in February and just now received in September, but totally worth the wait. Love the end grain butcher block with scrap hole. This island was built to last.”

“I give the physical store and website 5 stars. The candles are great. They arrived safe and sound. Wrapped and secure. However, the shipping has a lot to be desired and gets 3 stars. I ordered on 9/28/23. Wrote asking about my order status on 10/10 with a response on 10/12 that my order had shipped. I checked my tracking number, my item still hadn't gotten to the post office.... until 10/16. I received my shipment yesterday. I had multiple other store items shipped from the same area and received everything else within 7 days. We live in Illinois and decided to do online rather than cram the car with purchases. So my advice is order early!! Despite the crazy shipping time, I will still order from More Than A Candle. The candles are wonderful.”
