“It everything we needed on our visit to the area. I will say it is the only large grocery store in the area so they are very BUSY. Both times we went we had to wait for a parking spot because it seems the whole town and every out of towner like us were there to pick up something.”

“The store offered lots of Jerky options. Including vegan! Mushroom jerky, ahi tuna, kangaroo, python, elk, Goose, and SO much more. All at reasonable prices! The pieces the family ate they really enjoyed!”
“Great Selection & Service!
It’s a long way back to town. Fortunately Chalet Village Market is there and there is a good chance you won’t have to drive back down the mountain. They don’t have everything you want but they have everything you need and lots of what you want.
They do take credit card. They do have firewood. There are most things you’d find at a convenience store like medications and even a sewing kit.
You’ll find essentials like; milk, eggs, bacon, bread a limited produce section, canned goods and bottled pasta sauces.
There is also a frozen foods section with breakfast options and frozen pizzas. They also have some DVDs playing cards and the like.”
“Such a cute southern store that had a little of everything. Todd was amazing and super informative. He had the classic southern hospitality that made you feel welcome.”
“GODS COUNTRY!!! Just Smell the Air.....watch the Sunrise while the smokey Mts disapate&watch the Sun set behind the the Mts..,Can't find that in the city or town you live in (?)”
“Well, buckle up, kiddos! Dad's about to lay down the lowdown on the Dollar General in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Now, I'm no big city reviewer, but I know a good deal when I see one, and let me tell you, this place is like a treasure hunt without the map – you never know what you're gonna find!
First off, the location is just peachy. Nestled in the heart of Gatlinburg, it's like a beacon of savings calling out to all us penny pinchers. And the parking lot? Spacious enough for the ol' family station wagon, with room to spare for a game of catch.
Now, let's mosey on inside. The aisles are wider than the Mississippi, and the shelves are stocked higher than a Texas cowboy's hat. They've got everything from A to Z – snacks for the road trip, sunscreen for those sunny days, and even those little travel-sized shampoos that the missus loves so much.
The staff? Friendlier than a neighbor with a pie. They greet you with a smile that's as genuine as a home-cooked meal. And if you need help finding something, they're on it faster than you can say "sale on aisle five."
Prices are so low, you'll feel like you're back in the good ol' days. I picked up a pack of batteries for less than the cost of a soda pop at the diner. And speaking of soda, they've got a selection that'll make your head spin – more flavors than Baskin-Robbins, I tell ya!
Now, no store's perfect. Sometimes the lines can be longer than the wait for the bathroom after Thanksgiving dinner. But with deals this good, it's worth the wait. Plus, it gives me time to crack a joke or two with the folks in line.
Dollar General in Gatlinburg is the bee's knees. It's the kind of place that makes you feel like a kid in a candy store, even if you're just buying laundry detergent. So, if you're in town and looking for a bargain, swing by – and tell 'em Dad sent ya”
“Found .25 cent magnets and candy! Super friendly staff and I didn’t realize they close early on Sundays and I went in right at closing and never once did they rush us! I felt like that awful customer after I walked out and it was pointed out to me they had been closed for 11 minutes! So if you’re looking for good deals and friendly service this is the place to go !”
“Super-convenient convenience store! Right down the street from where we were camping! Has everything you might possibly need that you might have forgotten or ran out of.”
