The customer service is amazing, any questions or problems were quickly answered and quickly resolved. The cabin is super clean and tidy. The location is perfect with everything being just a few minutes away, but still far enough that it doesn’t disturb your stay otherwise. Beautiful views, easy access porch with a ramp so carrying in belongings is much easier than stairs of steps. 10/10 experience.Nearby activities: 10-20 minutes away from the main attractions, with many “hole in the wall” places in between, there’s always something to do if you’re wanting to adventure the area.

Service was great! They called and checked in on us after the first night. They sent constant emails and provided everything you would need to know about the property. I really liked the text messages we received day of arrival with more details about the property. Biggest complaint, there were not enough forks, seats, or toilet paper for 10 people and the cabin did not come with a sponge for dishes. If you are going to say it fits 10 you need to plan for 10 people to be there.

My family and I had booked Talking Waters cabin in Gatlinburg, TN about a month ago for our trip 12-14-2023 thru 12-17-2023We arrived at the cabin after a 10 hour drive only to find a disgusting, filthy, spider infested cabin. We called Elk Springs to tell them we were extremely unhappy with the cabin and we did not want to stay there. They pretty much said they could care less and I would still be charged for my stay. I would have been happy to pay for one night but for the entire weekend wasn't fair to us when we couldn't even stay there.Needless to say we left and by some miracle found a different cabin to stay in for the weekend.DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! They do not clean the cabins very well and they have horrible customer service.

The cabin was well stocked with all your needs. Beds were super comfortable and the amenities were amazing. Perfect getaway with an amazing view. Spa, theater room, firepits are incredible and had the feel of being home. Throughly enjoyed the stay.

Been meaning to write this review for a while but got busy, I've stayed with Elk Springs multiple times over several years, probably at least 8 times or more. I'm writing this to hopefully save someone trouble and anguish and hopefully get them to make some changes. They have a ton of cabins with various levels or prices. The problem lies in the fact they don't obviously require the owners to do bare minimum things to keep them in good shape. They have some really nice cabins that are new, but do you have to stay in a new cabin every time to make sure anything works or your family is gonna get the trip they deserve. It's basically a bait and switch operation, great pics great descriptions, you show up realize lots of things don't work, you call complain, they don't care they've got your money then, yeah they'll send some maintenance guy out hours later or whenever, usually your trip will be ruined though, cause you feel like you were just deceived, this has happened to me numerous times. They are notorious for pools hot tubs that either dont work or are freezing so you'll have no desire to get in them. But it's really just poor service, poor maintenance, they obviously just let owners milk people for money, your hard earned money, and never inspect the cabins and require the owners to do basic up keep, like give them a list and say, "Hey these things have to be fixed". Elk Springs tries to advertise as a luxury resort, far from it, they have a few great ones, most can't afford those, you and your family will get stuck in one you thought was great, but turned out to be a joke, keep your money and look elsewhere, don't let them get you, they got me several times, till I decided I'm done with them for good, they'll never get a penny of my money again ever, if enough people read the reviews and stop going it will force them to make changes or their wallet will keep getting lighter. If you're thinking of staying do your research and dig a little, read their reviews not all that great and a lot of what I'm telling you, you'll hear over and over again, you've been made aware now and I've done my partThis review is not fake, I don't post my real name publicly cause I don't have to or want to,I'm not running a public business, I can post some pictures of my various receipts with my personal information blurred out, this is a classic response from a narcissistic organization, all good reviews are real and bad ones are fake, isn't that convenient and fits so neatly in the disregard your bad behavior column

My wife and I take the family every year in October for the color change. This year we decided to try a new resort and went with Elk Spring. Not only was the cost cheaper than the other places we've used, it was also mover convenient to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge with an awesome variety of cabins and views. We loved the cabin we chose and plan to use Elk Springs again next year.

1. The only single room on the first floor didn't lock because the door doesn't properly latch. 2. It sleeps 32, and only allows for 6 vehicles to park. Even if everyone carpooled, you couldn't get 32 people in 6 cars. 3. Cobwebs everywhere. 4. We forgot my wife's dresses in the closet and they're much needed for our honeymoon we're on. We texted them just a few hours later asking if we could come and get them and they absolutely refused to help. TERRIBLE service. Beautiful location, amazing cabin for a lot of people.

We stayed in the Reindeer Bay cabin and it was perfect! It was beautiful and secluded enough to have privacy but not away from everything. The views were wonderful. The owners were so available to help but no help was needed. It was everything they said it would be and more. I plan to return, I had a wonderful time!!!

We spent 4 nights in this beautiful, well equipped and peaceful cabin. Two verandas with plenty of seating options, a decent hot tub, pool table, tv’s there but not really needed much, excellent furnishings and beds, 4 bathrooms, good kitchen area. Booking, payment and checking in / out easy, but really didn’t want to check out.

We gave it 5 ? , but we're telling you, and the staff, a few things here to give them a second chance. Their response time caring about our stay was above and beyond, and the ability to simply text them any Q, with a rapid response can't be beat.Just a few things to improve on:Provide coffee filters for your Mr. Coffee machine. Every machine is different, even drips bc it can be cone shaped or flat bottomed. We brought our own coffee that we purchased b4 arriving, but sadly the morning we were caffiene-deprived.Second, with all the kitchen amenities there wasn't a cutting board! I would b afraid of careless guests cutting on your counter top. So, then we noticed they were using a decorative rooster wooden picture that stands behind the utensil stand! We got a laugh out of that. Not sanitary at all, or appropriate. We didn't have time to use the hot tub, but we loved the pool table!! The atmosphere and attention to the cabin rustic appeal was tickling to our warm fuzziness inside. The drive up the mountain to our cabin (we got the Moonshiners Legacy) was so scary! We had to use our GPS, and there is literally only room enough for one vehicle on the way up. We were blessed to not pass anyone, and would have crapped our pants if we saw someone coming. We didn't see any bears, so someone likely paid extra and got our fair share of sightings. We'll have to ask in advance next time and tip forward :?We'll be back!!!S & K

After the long drive from Nashville we looked forward to a some time in the hot tub to relieve the 5 hours cramped in the car. When i went to fix cocktails .... no ice. Broken ice maker was a solid block of ice. When we contacted mgt we were told two hours. So after 5 hours in the car we went in search of ice. When we got back we tried the "hot" tub. It was a lukewarm 84 degrees. We contacted mgt. They sent someone out represented that it was fixed. It never got above 87 degrees and usually hovered at 84. Numerous messages to mgt. Yes they respond but do not know how to fix. We were finally told that they knew about the ice maker and were awaiting parts. Why not a bag of ice in the freezer?????? They did not know how to fix the non-hot tub and were going to contact the manufacturer. The tub was a loss the whole time we were there. We decided to try to make the best of it and fill the jetted tub in the bedroom. It ran out of hot water before the jets were submersed. The wash cloths were more abrasive than the sandpaper I use between coats of varnish. Kitchenware cheap crap. The "starter material" they tout consisted of greasy used salt and pepper shakers, two dishwasher tablets and sing soap. No sugar, coffee, coffee filters. Lots of spiders though. In light of the fact that that the paperwork states that mgt does not adjust for inoperative things like hot tubs... you knew it did not work. We found a note from a prior occupant. And when you state you were waiting on parts ... you knew it did not work. Saying you were "responsive" is like a fireman showing up without water. To call these "luxury" or "resort" cabins because they have indoor plumbing ..... try the wash cloths.

I had a wonderful time! The cabin was absolutely beautiful, I didn't have a problem with anything. Elk Springs was great about keeping me informed about the cabin and the rental. The owners of the cabin were so available and made sure if I needed anything I knew how to get in touch with them but I didn't need anything. The views were beautiful, I love it I definitely plan to return and the price made it affordable to do something this special. This trip really meant a lot to me and they made it great by providing a very good experience! Kathryn and Kurt thank you again for extending your cabin to us in such a gracious way.

One of the best--maybe the best--rental cabins I've ever stayed in. We had a larger group so this was a large cabin that fit the bill, 3 full floors with 6 bedrooms and 7 overall beds. Each bedroom was spacious and had comfortable bedding. There were plenty of bathrooms, though if you have someone in every room you'll be sharing one per two rooms most likely.I loved that there were excellent outdoor sitting areas on every floor and at every angle each with a great view. Despite being not that far from other cabins, it feels secluded and private. I never saw anyone from another cabin while on a porch or from a window. The upstairs area was fantastic--a multipurpose pinball machine with dozens of pinball games and an arcade version sibling; a pool table and air hockey table; a bar; a card/game table; and an entire theater room with theater seating! Outdoors there was a hot tub that was clean and worked terrifically. Only items even close to complaint territory-- no basic items like salt, pepper, etc. Literally warning plastered everywhere of how you'll be charged for any number of items (it's helpful to avoid the charge I suppose, but gives the impression they don't really want renters?); lots of spiders at every glance outside, but I didn't notice any indoors and it is the woods so who can really blame them there? So long as they're doing a bug barrier for the inside as best as possible. I'd definitely stay here again.
