Don’t take teenagers in there. The owner is not able to handle stress. My daughter tried on a cowboy hat and when she placed it back on the same rack the owner flew from back of the store and was rude telling us that we will mess up his inventory and he sells 100 k worth of hats a month online. The hat has the appearance of hyena skin. I will not be back… By the way, I have been coming to Gatlinburg for 20 years. Nothing ever lasts long in that location.

Satisfied is an understatement. Took a knife in to get a new sheath and the owner was amazing. Took about an hour to for him to do and he over delivered. Thank you Doug, God bless.

RUDEST BUSINESS OWNER EVER! BEWARE! My family and I went into the store while we were on vacation in Gatlinburg because my father forgot his belt. We walked in and saw the owner and my dad said, “Hey man, I’m looking for a belt.” The man literally grunted and pointed towards the unfinished belts. My dad found one he liked and went back to the owner to ask about a buckle. The man quite literally IGNORED my dad. We stood shocked for a minute then just walked out. My only guess is it was because we were tourists and he assumed we weren’t going to really buy anything. HORRIBLE. We will never darken the door again.

Took a knife here to get a sheath made, and a leather strap to have the edges beveled (this is a job that wd take 5 min tops). Proprieter gave me several random reasons - none of which were relevant or true - as to why he couldn't do the job. I am a leatherworker and came in to give him some business. Needless to say, I saw right thru his weak excuses. Also needless to say, I didn't have him make the sheath. Was he just having a bad day? Or is his terrible customer service just part of his equally terrible attitude? I'll never know, because I won't ever go back, and I'll make sure no one I know or do business with does either.

This man is the ruddiest person I have ever seen. We asked him to make a longer strap for a purse I was going to buy and he started yelling about how much trouble it would be in front of customers in the store.. Do not inconvenience this rude business man!

Beautiful shop but owner is quite ill mannered for being a business owner. I was asking questions in regards to his purses. He looked at me and told me the price of the purse in a tone of voice that insinuated I was unable to afford something he made. I nearly declined to make my purchase, but went ahead and made my purchase. I don't like to shop where someone acts like they don't care if you patronize their business or not. His wares are beautiful...but wish his personality fit his merchandise.

Very happy with this shop! Has a really nice variety of leather and other products. My boyfriend and I stopped in and talked to the owner which was very Nice and friendly. My boyfriend ask him about making sheaths for 2 knives he purchased in Pigeon Forge and the owner literally had them finished in 1 day.

If you like leather products like holsters, purses, and wallets, then you need to go see Mr. Doug. He is an artist and a craftsman. I have 4 of his holsters now. They are of the finest quality. If he doesn't have what you want, he can make it. His prices are very reasonable and competitive.
