thank you Doug for making our anniversary a wonderful evening. You topped it off. The hat for my husband is awesome and I love the little purse that you gave me. I use it daily. Loved hearing all of your stories and we tell everyone to go down and see Doug at the country cobbler… we'll see you again oh, and by the way, I love my earrings and so does everybody else I gotta come down and buy a few more pair for some folks as a gift they are totally awesome. This store was amazing..what's even more amazing was the conversation we had with Doug. Super nice guy and helpful. I left with a beautiful hand made purse and we will most definitely be back. Doug stood there talking to my 13 year old son several minutes and was very nice. See you again!

Don’t take teenagers in there. The owner is not able to handle stress. My daughter tried on a cowboy hat and when she placed it back on the same rack the owner flew from back of the store and was rude telling us that we will mess up his inventory and he sells 100 k worth of hats a month online. The hat has the appearance of hyena skin. I will not be back… By the way, I have been coming to Gatlinburg for 20 years. Nothing ever lasts long in that location.

Satisfied is an understatement. Took a knife in to get a new sheath and the owner was amazing. Took about an hour to for him to do and he over delivered. Thank you Doug, God bless.

RUDEST BUSINESS OWNER EVER! BEWARE! My family and I went into the store while we were on vacation in Gatlinburg because my father forgot his belt. We walked in and saw the owner and my dad said, “Hey man, I’m looking for a belt.” The man literally grunted and pointed towards the unfinished belts. My dad found one he liked and went back to the owner to ask about a buckle. The man quite literally IGNORED my dad. We stood shocked for a minute then just walked out. My only guess is it was because we were tourists and he assumed we weren’t going to really buy anything. HORRIBLE. We will never darken the door again.
