“They are the greatest folks to work with. Not only are Burns paintings exceptional and those of woods as well but the frame shop is awesome. Can't think of any place I would rather have work done on some exceptional paintings of the smokies”

“Arrowmont is a true hidden treasure in Gatlinburg. If you've been to Gatlinburg you have almost certainly walked or driven right by it and never noticed it. If you are looking to take an arts and crafts class with instructors from around the country and world this is the place. The facilities are great and the staff is super friendly. It's an amazing experience that I highly recommend.Tip: If you do decide to take a class be sure to purchase the meal plan with your class. The meals in the "mess hall" are amazing, and it's a wonderful opportunity to socialize with your classmates and instructors. It's so awesome you'll forget you have a phone. Seriously, how wonderful is that?”

“Really good quality and although the price is adjusted for both the makers/artisans and owner can make money. If you are buying to keep It seems that the pieces are all unique enough that the product is worth the extra money .”

“We spent the past week in the Smokies and had to take a trip to our favorite pottery shop!! Each family member picked out their favorite piece. I love that my kids appreciate local/ handmade pottery. We are satisfied with their work and plan to continue growing our collection each time we visit the area. Thank you Alewine Pottery for such incredibly well made and beautifully crafted, useable artwork.”

“Very beautiful gallery. My friend and I both purchased items while there. We would have stayed longer, however there was a nice lady working there that followed us from room to room talking to us, which made it difficult to enjoy the art.”

“My wife and I own six Henry Parker oil paintings and decided to visit his gallery in Gatlinburg a few years ago. Highly recommended for the nautical buff who's looking for some seascapes at a reasonable price. It was a pleasure meeting Mr. Parker in person and sharing our love for his paintings.”

“Super friendly,I ask if I could exchange an item I bought duplicates of and the gentleman ask what would make me happy. I said just to exchange a pair of earrings for another pair exactly the same style just in another color. His response was ok let's do it. . If you love art glass and beautiful photos this is the place to go. Exceptional customer service. I highly recommend you check this gallery out,”

“Beautiful the lady there, I'm sorry her name escapes me, was so gracious today and so nice. We felt as if we were visiting a friend instead of seeing a gallery.”

“We always stop in when we visit the Smokey Mountains, they have the cutest handmade pottery and my absolute favorite travel mug. It’s tucked away off the main strip so you’ll have to search a bit to find it but definitely worth the search if you’re looking for an authentic souvenir. Great prices too!”

“Highland Craft Gallery is an absolute treasure of a shop. There is a diverse selection of crafts from local artists and Kathie was wonderful at providing their stories and processes for creating. As a long-standing member of the Arts and Crafts Community, she is passionate about the integrity of the goods being presented as local on the loop and provided a wealth of knowledge and guidance. This intensity is essential to the preservation of these art forms with a dwindling number of practitioners. We look forward to stopping in again on our next Gatlinburg adventure!”
