We spent the past week in the Smokies and had to take a trip to our favorite pottery shop!! Each family member picked out their favorite piece. I love that my kids appreciate local/ handmade pottery. We are satisfied with their work and plan to continue growing our collection each time we visit the area. Thank you Alewine Pottery for such incredibly well made and beautifully crafted, useable artwork.

We visit Alewine every time we go to the Smoky Mountains. Beautiful pottery. They can be expensive but it's worth it.

Boy!!! Do we just LOVE visiting here! Get to shake, Mr. Alewine's hand and even speak with him. He is such a kind man who loves his customers. Family owned. He has such a beautiful family! They have such a nice variety of beautiful handmade bowls, coffee mugs, etc. We will continue to visit here to support them. ???

This shop has so, so much to offer. Huge selections, each one personal from this local legend. My mom has been collecting one piece every visit for 20 years and let me tell you, they hold up! A bit pricey but worth it.

We love pottery ! The first set of dishes we bought was from Alwine. Dishwasher safe. I still have them. Love their new Appalachian series. I also love the new classic white. Very nice just expensive. Saying that our dishes have lasted 23 years. I'm ready for a new set.♡

Me and my wife visited here yesterday. This is a very nice place to watch pottery being made, lots of items that he made for sale in his store. They are a little pricey but very pretty.

My wife and I have been shopping here for over 20 years. Each time we visit the area we pick up something new. Mr Robert greets us every time we see him like he’s an old friend. Whether he actually remembers us or not, he acts like he does, lol. The pottery is beautiful and durable. We will continue to add to our collection. Please support this family owned and run business.
