A very unique option for folks to enjoy coffee, shop for gifts or tour the beautiful historic house. The Bistro 562 is also open for breakfast and lunch. Amazing food options with a large selection of desserts. Its also a great place to work on your computer with internet provided. The owners are so kind and ready to help with any decor questions you may have. A wide variety of different vendors. Includes a small used book section with classic titles for adults and children. If you are looking for a Short term rental, they also have the "Retreats" which would be a unique place to stay for a few nights.

No parking. Didn't know where to go to order food at first. No hostess stand. No employees or signs to help first time customers. Went somewhere else to eat lunch.

Wonderful Bistro and coffee shop in the heart of Gallatin TN. Jeff and Heather and their children have created such a sweet, authentic atmosphere. If I need a pick me up or a smile, I head here! Delicious Fresh food! Great coffee! Great hangout or meet-up spot.

Wow!
We had my sister’s baby shower last month at the South Water Manor and I can’t speak highly enough about the experience.
My sister went in explaining the elegant winter wonderland she wanted for her baby shower. She spoke with the owner Heather and her daughter Samantha and they paid attention to every request she had. They even experimented with learning to make a special soup request just for her that they don’t normally make. We showed up the day before to drop off some ‘snowflake’ decor items we added last minute. And they were able to accommodate it and tie everything in together so beautifully. This is a family owned business which makes it even more special to support them. It was very neat to see the family working behind the scenes the day of her party and how flawless everything was.
I can’t put into words how amazing everything tasted! They made a strawberry lemonade that was to die for. Every dessert was worth going back for ‘just one more’(multiple times of course) and the dinner was delicious.
If you’re in need of a venue to hold your special event, then I highly recommend it here!

Recently, we went to an amazing and unique shop/bistro/local business yesterday morning for breakfast! South Water Manor in Gallatin, TN was welcoming, had local vendor spotlight areas tucked in corners, hallways, rooms, and displayed as decor, friendly staff, and YUMMY food and drinks. They had items like leather works, candles, local bakers, metal works, wood works, artistry, jewelry, clothing, etc. You could walk around shopping and there were tables and chairs of all heights and sizes that you could set and enjoy your goodies. Another customer recommended the Yoatbowl and mom loved it. #10outof10 #recommend

I’ve spent many hours here, working, meeting, eating, and bringing friends here to show off this beautifully reborn manor home turned into retail shops, restaurant, coffee house and rental venue. Great place to hang out. Warm and inviting and great place to meet other great people! Five stars on all aspects of South Water Manor! Great name too! ;)

What a delightful visit to the Manor I had yesterday with girlfriends. We sauntered from room to room taking in all that is offered on display for purchase and viewing.We had the most wonderful and engaging conversations with Heather and Jeff, the owners. Kindred spirits!!What a find!! I will definitely visit again when I return to the area. I know my local friend who is new to Galatin will be returning as well.

Had my baby shower here this weekend. The food was fantastic, but I was very upset walking in. I didn't get my balloon ring for a backdrop (that I paid for), so we had no pictures with a beautiful backdrop set up for me, my friends, or my photographer. The balloons that were hanging up were the complete wrong colors of the theme. ?♀️ We rented out the sun room & the "new room". Nothing was set up in the "new room" as Heather & I had planned, but instead, all was set up at the entry way in the front sun room. Luckily I had a fan bc it was hot! My cake melted. ?Nothing was set up as we had discussed other than the food selection on the table (in the wrong room)? I think we were all pretty disappointed, but like I said, the food was good. Heather and her family are very nice.

We had the most lovely wedding rehearsal dinner Friday night. Every detail was perfect. Thank you to Heather Brigstock and her incredible family and staff for ensuring our experience was everything we wanted it to be. They decorated, catered, and cleaned up. They took care of absolutely everything and allowed me to be in the moment. Their hospitality is unmatched.It was an experience we will not forget and want to recommend them for any event you have.

What an amazing place and experience. I had my baby shower there and it was absolutely lovely. It was a beautiful place, delicious food, really neat bistro, and the cutest boutique with unique and fun finds. Plus they have the kindest staff, where you feel like family. Great place for an event or for a yummy breakfast or lunch with shopping!! Highly highly recommend!

If you are going to Nashville, take a detour to nearby Gallatin for this wonderful, one-of-a-kind place. A unique blend of mouth-watering food and coffee and unique local art and gifts in a beautiful, peaceful setting. A great day trip!
