I have held an account here for over 5 years now. In the past year I have not been able to get ahold of anyone. I call 3 times a day 2 times a week for the past month( I am not able to go in to the branch as I am a truck driver) and not a single answer. Will be closing my account as soon I can get ahold of someone.

Avoid trust me go elsewhere use any backwoods home town bank instead of Fifth Fraud. Worst banking experiences of my life, opened account with a check and was told money would be in account in 2 days AFTER I asked teller multiple times if long hold time expected because I would try another route, it took 15 days! Additionally any out of state check deposited was held 10+ days, varying information when speaking with different personnel in store. Changed my phone number and was locked out of online banking AFTER I updated my number online and in person - could not understand why nor receive any explanation about my account or how to fix situation so I Withdrew all funds, one month later I went to open another account at a different bank to learn I couldn’t start an account because my account at 5/3 was charged off for over $200 and now I did NOT receive a single call, email, etc about account closing nor charge off. Criminal. From the bottom of my heart I Hope rising inflation and weakening economy forces 5/3 “bank” out of business.

Deposited a check and had to wait a few days for it to be available. 3 days later it was available and so... started spending, then all the sudden it declines.Apparently, they went back and took the check out of my account and are now holding it for 2 weeks, leaving me with a negative balance and overdraft fees for the charges I made while it was available... Very very very shady.Shame too... I was getting ready to move my business accounts here. Thank God I didn't.Just stay away.

While I have seen negative reviews, I have found this 5/3 branch to be very efficient and friendly.

Never greeted when I walk in. Very very slow rude I was in line and I overheard customer asking the manager that was upfront about her account she was trying to explain to him he got very rude and rolled his eyes and then she finally gave up and left and then I was with somebody that wanted to get money out of their account and basically that's why I need the money that's none of their concern that's unprofessional we will not be banking with them the person I'm with will be closing account immediately if I were you I would go somewhere else read the reviews they're not good they're rude and unprofessional

They are extremely slow at this location! I do like the bank, however they charge a lot of unnecessary fees! But they say they wanna make your day “a fifth third better” how? You definitely can’t with charging High fees and they DO NOT work with you if you need to make arrangements to pay on your credit card to work around your pay week! If you don’t pay it ON TIME whether you have it or not you will be charged!!! Then In the app it’s useless to chat with the agents they can never help!! They always refer you to call…. On top of that, I went to this location and was not even greeted I had to make it known that I was there!!! Smh I rather go to HENDERSONVILLE I WILL NEVER go back to the Gallatin location!

Friendly and courteous staff. Drive thru available, very quick service lobby open as well. Large parking lot lots of near door spots. Right across from the Walmart

99.9% of the time I have received perfect service from this 5/3 Branch. The employees are wonderful. Service has been great. Today, I am disappointed. I started calling my branch at 9:03 am on Monday, May 17, 2021. Every time I called I received a message that, “Members at this branch are busy helping others. Please call back at a later time.” At 10:38 am May 17, 2021 someone finally answered the telephone. They did take a message for me.

THE WORST BANK EVER! A ton of hidden fees! No help from anyone. And once you finally talk to someone and confirm everything, they still CANNOT give u any information! This bank is a total joke.

We went into this Gallatin Fifth Third Bank location to try and open a checking account since we have a car loan with this bank. I was promptly told there was no one available to do this for us and told us we could come back another day! What? On a Wednesday afternoon at 2 pm you have NO ONE in the entire bank to open a checking account? Horrible customer service! We chose another bank to say the least!

The only reason I’ve stayed as long as I have is because all of my bills are already set up through this account. The current situation has sent me to 3 different people and they all have different stories, I was more confused when I got off the phone.

Didn't have the issues like the last few people. Love the staff there! The people seem to change, but they are still friendly and helpful. My only issue is it seems so quiet every time you walk in. Most banks have some type of music. I couldn't work in silence for 8 hours. That would suck!

This was my bank until today. I have officially closed the account as of 3pm today. This is the worst banking experience I have ever had. When I opened my account back in June on a Thursday it took them until Wednesday of the next week before I could see my funds online....and these were transferred from one bank to another. They charge fees when you transfer funds between financial institutions...which I’ve never had to pay before...not even when I originally transferred funds into their bank from another local bank.
