Cashier whose name is Cheryl was extremely rude to my wife and son. She spoke with a disrespectful tone towards my wife and yelled at my son because he found a toy that was near the check out line and after he was done looking at it he put it back where he found it and Cheryl proceeded to yell at him and call him blind. My wife told Cheryl he found it there to which Cheryl replied with a snarky "uh-huh." This behavior is not acceptable for a cashier especially towards a child. Cheryl was also being rude to other guests as well.

Looks like most of the reviews are bad for this location. Unfortunately, my review will be no different.
For years Dollar Tree has been my happy place. I go there just to look at the new stuff and figure out what I can do with the older stuff. There are three DT in my area. One in Gallatin, one in Portland and one in Lebanon. I mostly shop at the Gallatin store since it’s closer to my home.
Well that is changing…I was there yesterday looking for craft items and enjoying looking at the new items, when I hear this obnoxious voice talking so load I could hardly concentrate. I continued to shop, but the voice continued to louder and more irritating. I went to the front of the front of the store to find the manager after 15 minutes of yelling from the irritating voice and was surprised to see the ONLY cashier on her phone, speaker phone yelling at someone.
I asked the other clerk what was going on and she said, the cashiers uncle had passed away. I asked why not let her talk somewhere else? The lady shrugged her shoulders and went back into the office.
There was no way I was going to check out while this girl was on her phone, paying no respect to any of her customers. She was not physically upset, just yelling about random things.
I went back to the back thinking maybe she would hang up soon. I thought I heard her end the call only to begin a conversation with someone else.
I went back up front and she was on her phone, sitting at her register, in deep conversation with whoever…she was the only register open and it seemed to be the only choice if I was going to get out of there.
I went towards her register and as I began to unload my stuff she did not even acknowledge my presents. Anger welled up in me and I tossed the two bags on the table, mostly to get her attention. She finally looked up at me and I bent over in her face and told her to GET OFF THE PHONE! Well she did not like that and instead of ringing my out, she got up and let her register, complaining that I had thrown my things at her…walked away and I never saw her again. I waited a few moments, unloaded the rest of my stuff and waited.
Finally, I realized she was not coming back. I looked around the store, I saw no other customers. Evidently they had had enough of the rudeness and left. So I decided to follow suit and walked out of there and will never go back to that DT and will tell everyone what a horrible experience I had at your Gallatin location.

The worst staff ever. Some reason there’s an old lady that works there and this is the 3rd time I’ve been in this store and asked for help finding something and she just points and says it’s over there somewhere.

Mary doesn’t need to work for this store, or she needs to be trained on customer service . I simply asked if she had any red cups on the shelf. Her response was very rude and all she could say is that she is a cashier and refused to help or answer any questions and made a scene in the store for me simply asking a question. They had a ton of goods on a roll around stocking cart still in boxes and she had no clue .

Horrible experience! A/C has been broken for months.they only fix it for the couple days corporate was visiting. Shame on DT upper management. extremely understaffed. Saff is also underpaid and under trained. Hopefully this location will be 1 of the 1K stores that are shutting down soon!!

This store honestly just sucks and doesn’t care about the customers who keep them jobs. I had to use the bathroom while I was in the store, and I waited outside for the lady to finish cleaning. As soon as she finished I went in to use the bathroom and she abruptly stated that she just cleaned the bathroom and it’s off limits. She further stated that customers can’t use the bathrooms. So tell me this, if the bathrooms aren’t meant for the public, why do you advertise them for public use? They signs stating “if our restrooms aren’t fit to your needs, let management know.”

Customer service is horrible, I walked in with my service animal and was told I'm a living fu.... I don't have one but yet there was 2 old lady's in the store with their lap dogs. I have been a customer there for over 2 years, the manager Joyce was very rude and cussing AR me while kids were in her line with their parents. Staff has no filters with their phones on speaker and tracking the company while customers are being rang out.The fact she asked for papers is illegal as can be and she has yet to be accountable for repercussions of this.If you want rater R entertainment I recommend this location but keep your kids out

Best place for cheap entertainment ,when it's not only on Halloween that ur employees walk around looking like they wish they were dead, they also have no disregard for what they say in front of customers or even a smile or friendly approach to customers. Your bathrooms at this location are always either locked and nobody is available with a Key or code or they r broken, I personally hope I'm there to witness the day someone has diarrhea and it comes out all over the floor and creates a well deserved mess for not being more accommodating to customers on this issue! Last visit to the store kids were chasing each other down aisles almost running into other customers and spraying stuff at one another this went on and on and not 1 Employee ever attempted to stop it or tell them to leave making it more of a hassle for all other shoppers trying to get their stuff and get out ! Not to mention the shelves are always empty like damn ur not remodeling the store everyday, where are the products ?....Worst Store in Gallatin !

This is only for the MANAGER AND THE MANAGER ONLY!!! Walked into the store greeted by Ms Pat she was very pleasant and polite! She called for the manager over the speaker and her response was GD I’m coming damn! I’m guessing she forgot that the public could hear her but either way that response was unnecessary!!!She was rude disrespectful and unpleasant to deal with!!!

First off I worked at Dollar Tree, so I know company policy's or how they were. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND the gallatin dollar tree. My 4 year old daughter and I use to go here two to three times a week, because we buy (now bought) her reward chart prizes here. I'd rather go to Walmart now atleast they're nice to their customers. My 4 year old had to go to the bathroom so she asked the lady with glasses and red curly hair if she could go as my daughter is crossing her legs doing the potty dance. She looked at my daughter and said no and then I smelt it. My daughter had pooped herself because this lady told her no. So I explained to the lady she's 4 she can't hold it and now I have to clean her up so I need somewhere to clean her up. This was on Memorial Day by the way. So then she told me to go next door it wasn't her problem. I will not go here again. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I had to go next door in o the Electronic Express to clean my 4 year old up. I will not shop at Dollar Tree ever again since this is how they treat children.

Went in today to purchase some flip flops. When I got to the cashier, Brittany, I handed her a pair of sandals and said I had changed my mind and did not want to buy those. While I said this she held eye contact with me. I paid for my flip flops and upon checking out I noticed the bag was heavier than I thought it would be. I looked, and she had rung up the sandals even though I told her I did not want those. I said, I told you I didn’t want these, why did you ring them up? She said that she didn’t hear me, and they do not accept returns so there’s nothing I can do. I thought this was the craziest experience I have ever had. It felt criminal. She pulled one on me and got away with it. Stay away from this location, they have horrible ethics.

In store today 11/22/22 and only one employee in the store and he’s on the register. The line to check out went to the back of the store. How can a retail store run a profitable operation like this? Shoppers with baskets full walked out leaving baskets all over the store. Someone in the corporate office needs to address this, they have to know what’s going on (unless they spend their day napping at the desk).
