This store is near and dear to my heart. I grew up in Highland and this store was the 1st place that Moma let me drive to by myself, I think I was only 14 and I only lived across the lake in the Ray Holler..things sure were different back then. I remember going in there to get ice cream out of the cooler. Always a group of farmers sitting out front in straight back chairs. I don't get up there too often but I am very thankful to the great people who keep it alive and running. Many thanks!
