I would not recommend anyone who needs a watch serviced to go to Whitley Jewelry Compeny in Franklin, TN. I asked them to do a full service on my blue submariner Rolex. I’ve had multiple issues since picking it up including it stopping after it’s been wound while wearing it and the blue bezel insert I had them replace fell off and was lost. They replaced it for free as they should have and it fell off agsin but I found it. I took the bezel insert that fell off the 2nd time io Minor Jewelry who said it was trimmed down too much when they installed it. Minor put a new bezel insert on and never had any issues. The turn around time is also very slow at Whitley. Beware!!

I had high hopes.. sadly, a big disappointment for a local business. I took in a pair of brand new earrings for a very simple adjustment. Was told it would be a couple weeks. Went in after a month saying that I hadn't gotten a phone call yet so they probably weren't done and I just was checking on the status. The response ( complete with a chuckle) was borderline offensive ''Oh, sorry that you didn't get a phone call.. that meant they aren't ready'' It was super uncomfortable and edgy. I called a couple weeks later and was told they would make it a priority. I waited again. My earrings sat in there for almost 2 months after I stopped in to pick them up thinking I would do the adjustment myself. Didn't even get an apology. They just handed me the earrings and that was that. I ordered the pieces to repair my earrings and fixed them in less than five minutes. I really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and was nothing but nice about them taking so long. To not even say a word to me about not getting to them after almost 2 months was beyond unprofessional. Me not being able to wear my brand new earrings because they sat unattended in the store for so long was maddening. This is not a business I would trust to do right with a more expensive repair or purchase. I do hope more local businesses take notice of such things and why people end up resorting to going to larger businesses. I really would have put up with the long wait time w/o taking the time to write a negative review if they were nicer about it.

I had numerous family heirlooms appraised and cleaned. The prices were very reasonable and my charm bracelets looked brand new after cleaning. Customer service is outstanding and quality of work done was amazing!! I wouldn’t go anywhere else for repairs or purchases!! There is a reason why this store has been in business so long… quality work done by a place of high integrity!!

Brought a chain in for jewelry repair. Discussed when I dropped off that I wanted them to check the other links in case the chain was not worth fixing. Picked up the chain paid $60, they said they checked it, and it looked good. They had fixed broken link. 3 days later the chain broke in a different spot, not due to any sort of stress. When we took it back in they offered no help. Suggested maybe I needed a new one....Would have been no problem if they had suggested that before charging me $60 to fix, but after paying to fix left me feeling ripped off.

We have been using Whitley Jewelers for 20+ years and we don't go anywhere else when we need jewelry repair, timepiece repair or shopping for a piece of jewelry. We were in need of a setting to fit a stone we had and we had considered just dipping the one we had - but then Guy Whitley (owner) demonstrated a computer generated design tool and in just a few minutes we had the setting of our dreams designed and the turn around was perfect! Just in time for the engagement of one of our sons.Always friendly and very personal, we love using and referring our friends to Whitley Jewelry.

I love the work that was don't to my ring. It's looking amazing. Super happy with the service and the workmanship. We will be using Whitley's from now on as our jeweler.

I went in to have my Hamilton watch repaired (April 2022). The watch was with Mr.Whitley for 6 months. I got zero call backs or updates from them inspite of me making 6 calls over the 5 months. To top it all, their summer months meant they are closed on weekends.I went to the store as someone recommended them to me. Sorely disappointed. Terrible customer service and borderline condescending attitude towards customers.

The man acted like he could have cared less to help me and continued to spout out rude comments until I finally asked for my watch back and abruptly left. I will never step foot in this store again and will most definitely tell everyone that I encounter to steer clear as well. I want to support local businesses as much as possible, but not when they have that type of customer service.

One of the most polite and genuine people to work with. Great repair and when it took longer than expected they compensated. Didn’t expect that nor want and they insisted. Drive through window is a bonus when in a hurry with kids Highly recommend for any of your purchases or repairs.
