The sweetest children’s shop! I have been shopping here for years and absolutely adore everything about Purple Butterfly! The cutest clothes, FREE monogramming (which is unheard of at children’s boutiques!), and great customer service! Love this place!

The BEST store EVER! The customer service, quality, cutest clothes and toys/gifts, FREE monogramming, fun sales and parties…..can’t say enough good things about this place. The owners are so generous and it’s obvious they take pride in serving the kids and families of this town (and all over!). People always ask where I dress my kids and I respond with “The Purple Butterfly…only the absolute best kids store out there!” Love everything about this place and you will too!!

I will absolutely never give them my business again. We went in today and the lady working was INCREDIBLY rude. I had my parents, my 9 month old and two year old with me. My two year old picked a stuffed animal and was simply holding/snuggling it, when the lady walked over and grabbed it out of her hand stating "I don't want it near any children's mouth." I apologized and continued looking. My toddler then picked up a plastic pair of goggles...and once again was just looking at them and the lady came over, again snatched them out of her hand and stated "I'd like it if you didn't break my merchandise, okay?" I was absolutely stunned. My daughter was being extremely well behaved- she was just looking at the toys and this lady was horrible to her. I picked her up, calmly stated that we would be leaving and that we prefer to give our business to The Little Cottage (another children's boutique down the road.) So very sad- however it was a great opportunity to teach my soon to be 3 year old about how we treat others with kindness and respect even when they don't treat us the same way in return. Franklin is such a sweet home to us- this was such a shocking experience for such a family-friendly town.

Wow, where do I even begin with this gem of a boutique! I stumbled upon The Purple Butterfly while on the hunt for last-minute outfits. From the moment I stepped in, I felt like I had discovered a treasure trove of delightful clothes, toys, bows and gifts. The attention to detail throughout the boutique is impeccable. Every piece has been carefully curated, and it's clear that the owners have a deep passion for ensuring that each customer finds that perfect something for their little one. In an age where everything feels mass-produced, The Purple Butterfly brings back the magic of personalized and handpicked treasures.
I can't thank Mrs. Dale and the team enough for going above and beyond to make my shopping experience special. Needless to say, I found the perfect brother/sister set and even got it monogrammed for Free! I highly recommend this boutique to anyone looking for that perfect gift or outfit. You won't be disappointed.

There are so many cute clothes and toys in the shop. As soon as I walked in, the owner was ready to help. She showed me my options and gave me space to shop. Once I made my choices, she showed excitement for me and even threw in a few things. She was so kind and generous! I wish I'd had more space in my luggage to buy some of the monogrammed things too!

Wonderful Baby and Children's Store located near the Hotel in Downtown Franklin. They have a great selection of Newborn through toddler clothing and some really unique toys. The toys are not all flashing lights but those designed as learning toys that manage to captivate the child's attention. They are great! They do some unique and beautiful Monograms with Clothing Specifically designed for Monograms. The owner and her husband are more than delightful and so willing to go above and beyond to help you find what you need. I have found some really beautiful clothing and toys there for my granddaughter including the most perfect Notre Dame Outfit the owner practically designed and Monogrammed. It is a great place for locals and tourist. Definitely worth the drive to downtown or a stop in for a tourist.

Adorable store! They have a great selection for both boys and girls… and they monogram too. You can easily find unique gifts for baby showers and special occasions. The owner is very friendly, and so helpful! We will definitely return for future gifts!

I’m a first time customer, but I’ll definitely be coming back!Not only are the owners amazing and talented, but the quality of the shirt and embroidery is top tier! Everyone complimented my daughters shirt, it was a real show stopper!I ordered online and did an in store pick up and it all went so smooth! They made sure I loved the design before it was embroidered. Working with them was a breeze!
