I called and sent them a pic of the shave that I wanted for my hair. They booked my appointment and confirmed that they could do what I wanted. I arrived at the shop to find out I had to pay $7 to park.Once inside the shop the hairstylist told me she couldn’t shave my hair she wasn’t trained to shave heads. I had no choice but to leave. This barbershop treated me horrible and lied to me about what services they offer. I will never give this shop business again.

And… the girl said sorry, I asked her and she said no.
Been going there for years
Tipping beyond well too.
Now.. never again.
To much for these haircuts anyhow.

Got my hair cut here today for the first time. Jaclyn was friendly, professional and gave me a great cut! Parking can be hard depending on what time of day you go in so plan to arrive 5-10 min before your appointment. Also liked that my appointment started on time! My husband has been using Scouts for a couple of years now and is a loyal customer--ask for Randy!

We had the BEST experience at the Franklin location! The atmosphere was so neat, the staff were so friendly and they did a FABULOUS job! Highly recommend!!

Melanie did a fantastic job on my hair! She was friendly and attentive to the details that make for a great haircut. I’ve always been of a “get a haircut when you need it” mindset. But, I felt so confident after this haircut that I will be regularly scheduling her! Cost for haircut and beard trim was more than reasonable for the quality that I received.

I had a cut from Katherine today and it was a wonderful experience. Scout's though tucked away up an alley (unless you cut through the store Franklin Road) is a clean and comfortable barbershop. I was professionally greeted, offered a beverage and quickly met with my stylist. Overall a wonderful experience. I found the price to be very fair.

Unfortunately, I emailed 2xs. Immediately, post haircut then 1 week later and NEVER had a reply or acknowledgement. I got lucky choosing Trinity (1st time) but she canceled that day. I randomly chose another (brunette) the WORST haircut ever. Her demeanor was terrible, never asked me a question, or talked (which is fine). So, I really wanted to get up before the initial clipper swipe. Then, first swipe WAY too high up but at that point, what to do!? Then..pulls out massive scissors that are used in elementary school and I was stewing. She may have passed hair school but she is NOT ready. She needs to be mentored and candidly question herself if working in a people environment is best for her career. I don't wont to mention her name but SCOUT you can see who it was. She could have just followed the lines from the previous cut 3 weeks earlier but no. I will NEVER go back not because I got massively unlucky, but because SCOUT never replied to two emails. Be better.

I'm new to the area and have been searching far and wide for a decent haircut at a decent price and this ain't the place. I've given this location several chances and have yet to get a decent men's haircut. This last visit was a complete disaster. The girl who cut my hair, I won't name drop because she's sweet as pie, gave me the worst taper/fade EVER...like worst.cut.EVER. I sat there and watched as she hacked up my hair but didn't have it in me to say anything - I'm not THAT guy. Anyway, I paid + 20% tip and went on my way. When I got home I couldn't believe the haircut I just received and decided to eat the $40 I spent and shaved my head - like BALD BALD! Oh well, hair grows back, me ever going back to Scout's...not so much.

Please do not ever book an appointment at this place. As you know, this Scouts is located in downtown Franklin where there is very limited parking. It took me several more minutes to get parked and walk over than I expected, and I walked in about 7 minutes after my appointment time (that I booked the day before). I was then told that my appointment had already been cancelled, I was charged a $9 cancellation fee, and that I would have to wait over an hour for the next available appointment. The receptionist was very rude the entire time. When I complained, she told me I would get a call from a manager later about the situation. I never ended up getting a call from anyone. There are many other good barber shops in the downtown Franklin area that I have found so I would recommend any other besides Scouts.
