September 2024 by Hannah Begue
Stopped in last week in a frenzied panic trying to find a gift for my mother-in-law (my fifth stop of the day). Heather (I believe that was her name- she had fabulous pink hair) not only helped me find the perfect gift but also managed to calm me down, which was an impressive feat by that point. Thank you so much for your wonderful customer service!

They had a typo on the month September on our wedding invite - totally blamed us for missing it in the proof - understand partially our fault but as professionals you would think their spell check would find the word September- Don't use them

Beautiful products and friendly staff. I do a lot of writing and maintain a few traditional pen pals so their stock was spot on for fun things to send around the globe. They sadly did not have the inkwell or nibs I was looking for and they also directed me to try a store that gave me awful service but their heart was in the right place.I am actually going back soon for some of their cards and gift ideas. If I have any trouble I know the kind ladies at the counter will greet me with a smile and plenty of advice no matter how I choose to dress for the day.

I never knew I could fall in love with balloons until I met the ones Rock Paper Scissors makes! It truly is a work of art - every design is so unique and the staff does an incredible job of listening to the vision and making it come to life. So thankful for all the memories they have helped us create!

We walked into the store just before noon on July 25. We were the only two customers in the store. The gal working did not greet us and did not acknowledge us at all. Not worth my time going into a store like that when there are so many other places to shop.

I've used Rock, Paper, Scissors six times and each time it has been a wonderful experience. I also used them for an HGTV photoshoot as well as for a special event. RPS is very creative, prompt and professional. Highly recommend!

Wow so paid $75ish for one of their large balloons which 6 days later is now deflated. I was told these would last weeks. When I called to ask if there was anything that could be done to prolong the life of this expensive balloon, I was told “ it’s a balloon, we can’t guarantee it past one day.” So, as long as you are ok with paying $70+ for a one day balloon- go for it.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Please don’t waste your money on this “small business”!! Small businesses need our support more than ever after the pandemic but Lauren at Rock Paper Scissors is not looking out for her client base. I ordered my wedding invitations from her and my Mother and I spent a great deal of time in her shop getting quotes and choosing the perfect fonts etc. We were very clear about our budget and expectations and when Lauren added a ribbon tied around my invitations I thought it was of course adorable, but I asked her if the ribbon would be expensive. Adding such a fancy detail would surely raise our price, Lauren proceeded to tell me not to worry about the ribbon cost. I asked her to please include the cost of ribbon in my total. Lauren again, told me that the ribbon was on her! Fast forward to my order being ready, I arrived in her shop and the ribbon was not even ready for me at pick up! I asked the girl (who is so rude btw) behind the counter if Lauren was there and that I had ordered ribbon! This girl has to call Lauren and ask her about my order…. Then Lauren has the nerve to try to charge me $68 for the ribbon on top of the $850 I had already paid, even after Lauren had assured me that the ribbon was included. I asked the girl several times to speak with Lauren that day but she refused. I ended up leaving without the ribbon because I didn’t think it was right and I decided to email Lauren directly. This situation still isn’t handled as Lauren has refused to send me my ribbon that we agreed on, and only agreed to pay half and for me to pay the other half. MAKE SURE YOU GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING!! I’ve learned that many vendors swindle and use naive wedding planners since most people planning a wedding have never done so before. They aren’t sure what questions to ask etc. I decided to use a small business because I thought it would be a more trusting experience but I was wrong. Lauren at Rock Paper Scissors is a LIAR and untrustworthy. The exact opposite of what you want in a small business experience. Don’t waste your time, just order through the Knot or Wedding Wire, at least it’s all in writing and you can customize your orders yourself. You’ll also save like $800!! Lauren- thanks for nothing!!

Super cute party supply store for unique custom party decor. Lots of beautiful plates, napkins, cards, balloons and wrapping paper sheets. I particularly love the paper streamers. Also some cute little gifts.

This is such a cute little store that I took my friend who was visiting from out of town. When we first walked in, the first thing we saw was some drinkware coveted with obscene words. F word included. We looked at things while we made our way back in the store where the employees were. My friend, in a very respectful way told the employee that the fact that it was kind of in your face was a little offensive and proceeded to tell us how many they sold and that she thought it was funny. She seemed to want to argue about it. Its not really the merchandise that would keep me from going back, its the attitude of the workers.
