My girlfriends and I went to this store while visiting Franklin, Tennessee last week. Nestled inside of the store is a prayer chapel with hung with hundreds of prayer tags. Written by those, like me who are so grateful to have experienced the mercy of God. This is more than retail shopping experience it’s a stop to remember all the good we already have. Thank you for your Christian witness and I only wish more store/ restaurants would be inspired to do the same.

I have never been made to feel so uncomfortable in a retail store before. I've worked retail and I understand that employees greeting guests and periodically checking in is not only good manners, but a good business practice for mitigating shrink/loss. But this store took guest "oversight" to a degree that was downright hostile. I came in one weekend day with three of my girl friends and after the initial greeting, we were then followed around the store by a second employee watching our every move (and not subtly). We were the only guests in the store that I noticed, so having an employee follow us into every room and corner was very noticeable. Not only that, he stared us down and hovered less than 10 feet from us at all times. Never a smile, just staring at us. I'm not sure if the "look" of us was somehow offensive to them, but I felt profiled and harrassed. My whole group was so uncomfortable that we left quickly after making a circle around the store and realizing what was happening. For this store being all about Christianity, I wouldn't say they act very Christian at all.

One of my favorite stores. The atmosphere radiates peace, from the music, to the people, to the prayers up to heaven on the walls of the chapel. The peaceful staff is so courteous and helpful. The old building vibe is so much fun. There’s nothing in this store that screams religion, while this store may be called by others only a Christian store, what I would challenge is this store is a faith-filled, relational, drawn into grace Anthropology.

One of the most beautifully decorated shops I’ve ever experienced in the states. Beware: you will be tempted to buy EVERYTHING!!

absolute favorite shop in franklin! anyone who’s not stopping by is missing out. beautiful, unique clothing pieces in different styles, textures, colors, etc. amazing selection of antique/vintage pieces, from furniture to candles to glassware, that decorate the store and make this location special. (i found the most beautiful blown glass decorated chandelier!) ladies working there are awesome. they’re so happy to help whether that be looking for something specific, opening a fitting room, or just offering to hold your finds at the counter so you can keep looking! there’s always more to see, and even if it’s not exactly your vibe, it’s such a comforting, charming, and memorable place to be, it’s worth it to just go in and say hi. if you’re in franklin wanting to shop or browse, go to philanthropy!

Great story with so many amazing items! The message and mission statement of the company is probably the best part. Definitely worth shopping!

The store looks pretty, but operates ugly. They overcharge for everything. I stupidly bought a vase for $25 from them, only to go down the street to find the same exact item for $15. For a Christian organization, they should not be price gouging like this and overvaluing the goods they have there. To make matters worse, I saw that same vase in yet another city, a totally different store, and it was also $15. To date, I have seen that same face in a total of four different stores all valued at $15. Why philanthropy gets off on charging $25 is beyond me. To add insult upon injury, they don't allow returns- only a store credit. Talk about shady. Avoid this place like the plague because they are clearly not operating by Christian principles or values; rather, they are fueling their corporation with dishonesty and inflation. After that experience, I will never go back. I don't believe in spending money places that make it a company policy to swindle.

This is one of the best stores in Franklin. A great place to browse for home goods type items and eclectic pieces. It's got a prayer chapel in the middle which is absolutely amazing. You got to see this place if you ever come to Franklin.

A very unique experience. We were walking through downtown Franklin hitting a shop here and there when we passed by this store. Something told me to check it out, I followed my wife and friends in and immediately noticed 4 ladies in the middle of they store praying. I then knew why I was there. I began to look around and take it all in. From the music, to the apparel and sheer creativity of the entire place it was overwhelming. It is obvious this place is driven by the Holy Spirit and they seem to be following. When we left I had goosebumps and tears in my eyes.We run a Christian business and aren't ashamed of our faith as well, it is great seeing other businesses doing it too. Keep up the great work. Blessings
