I'm not a fan of Kroger's AI self-checkout process. I prefer shopping at Publix & other grocery stores. Where I am able to use their self-checkout services. Plus I get the option to bag the groceries my own way. I've worked in grocery retail for over 20+ years. I can professionally bag my own groceries 100 times better than any associate. I only shop here because of my mom. It's very rare that I shop here for myself. I used to work for the Kroger in Brentwood. But I would never again because the company couldn't afford to pay me enough to keep me. So yeah, I would definitely boycott Kroger in a heartbeat. Since the company itself believes that they can purposely buy out other companies. Truth be told that the only thing this company cares about is money & nothing else.

What kind of grocery store closes for a whole hour on a Sat afternoon at the busiest day and time possible for a lunch break without any signage or notification?? Will be sticking with Publix.

There are no human checkout lines. They are all self checkout lines. I tried to go on my lunch break, and I ended up being late coming back to work because it took so long. It was a comedy of errors as the belt had issues, the computer had issues, the poor guy nagging was trying to help… absolutely fiasco. Won’t be back. Whole Foods is just as bad. Publix just won ALL my grocery business. They check the items out for me, they bag them for me, and they even offer to take the groceries to the car for me.

Don't like the self checkout, it's the only option

Where to begin with this place?! No regular check outs anymore, and everyone that works there is just standing around. Why am I scanning and bagging my groceries now, and on top of that the self checkouts barely work. I'll scan 4 items and then it needs someone to verify that I scanned them. Self checkouts are great for a few items but when you have a cart full and there's a line of people behind you they start to make less sense.

So they took all the check out lines away so all the employees are just standing around supervising. And in the middle of the day they don’t have anyone “available” to open customer service. I understand being short staffed but no manager at all to help???? Seems a little odd to me. Don’t even bother asking because they will be rude and tell you they don’t have anyone

Honestly I would give it zero starts if I could the fact that everything is self-checkout just takes away the personal part of shopping I don't know about you guys but I can't deal with that free labor for them f that in that case I'll just go to Walmart that's right downThe only good part I have to say is a young man at the self-checkout help me out because I didn't want to ring my stuff.... It's just a simple as neither of us should have been put in that position

All Krogers have the same clean, well-stocked stores with friendly help wherever you go. They have the larger, newer versions and the smaller ones too. Larger versions have everything you might be looking for with a more "Metropolitan" feel and appearance. Smaller ones are always conveniently located. Prices can be a tad higher than Supercenters but they have good markdowns.

I booked appointment for Covid tets a day before and I went on time to test and they kept waiting me like for a while and said they don’t have any tests available and asked me to book next day covid plus flue test since then don’t have any covid tests available..!Once appointment booked they should have kept it ready or should have said they don’t have any and cancel my appointment. that guy is very rude and poor customer service .

Employees are fantastic! Very friendly and willing to help! I Really enjoy the new checkout system. It's a self-checkout with a belt system. You check out your groceries the same way as you would with self-checkout, but the belt takes your items to a bagging station and a person at the end of the belt bags your items for you. It's very quick and efficient. Fantastic!

This store is 100% self checkout and it is terrible. Do not shop here if you plan to do your weekly shopping. I will never return. $300 in groceries I had to scan myself and then received an error message that the transaction was over their limit and it wouldn’t let me pay until a manager needed to bypass the system. Isn’t part of the cost of groceries related to having a cashier and bagger?? Groceries should be cheaper if the customer is scanning everything. Thank you to the amazing employees who bagged all my groceries and were so kind. This review is based on their 100% self check out not my experience with the fantastic employees.

This Kroger takes the cake for poor customer service And indeed tries to make it worse on the customer if they can. I went into purchase a six pack of beer I am 61 years old I handed them my license in my wallet so he could read the birthday I was told no no you must remove it from your wallet from the plastic which it is stuck to. I said come on dude it's stuck to my wallet. He said we can't sell you beer If you don't remove it from your wallet. I spoke to Terry the supposed manager who told me oh yes that's a state law You have to remove it from your wallet for us to sell you alcohol. Not only is it not a state law it is not a Kroger policy yet Mr Terry decided to not just intervene and say look he's 60 years old just look at his ID and put in the birthday oh no they make it as difficult as possible and refuse to sell me beer. What a joke I'm headed to Publix.

I have shopped here regularly for a while, and up until recently I haven't had much of any issues. However, recently, the produce I have been buying has become moldy within a matter of 2-4 days. This is honestly just unacceptable to me. The strawberries in the picture shown were bought 2 days ago. This is only one example; this has happened to roughly 4-5 packs of berries, including strawberries, raspberries, and strawberries, within the past 2-3 weeks.

I’m giving the 5 star to a young man named Tristan that helped me bag my groceries. You can tell this is his first job and he takes pride in his work. The young man was respectful and very helpful. It’s really nice to see someone that is genuinely helpful these days .Good job Kroger for hiring this young man.

Love that this store keeps employees long term and I see so many familiar faces. The people running their curbside pickup are always so nice too!!
