I have used this pharmacy for two years now and have had nothing but incredible service - very kind people doing anything and everything to serve my family!! Both Michaels who work there are wonderful!

Don't dare ask the floral dept for help with balloons or blowing up balloons. Lady there must hate her job. Never willing to help and always miserable, always too busy. Never have this issue at other grocery stores. Absolutely zero customer service . You'd think this was one of the busiest krogers around haha.

Convenient when you need to quickly grab some milk, bread etc but that's about it. Meat and seafood department is useless. Little selection and staff is not knowledgeable. Produce is often scarce and when available it is often old. Best to go to Whole Foods or Spouts for fresh and well stocked food

The location is very convenient but that is about the only great feature! I really wish there was a Whole Foods or locally owned store closer to where I live - I try to eat only organic foods and Kroger's organic produce brand is horrible! I wasted so much money the first time I stocked up. They do have a few organic canned food items (Newman's Own, Annie's, Pacifica) but there is so much room for improvement! A FB friend recently posted a picture of a gorgeous palm that she bought at the Kroger's on Del Rio Pike for $20 - the Westhaven Kroger's doesn't offer much at all for house plants - definitely no palms! My biggest complaint is that employees are always outside smoking- it is so disgusting and I really feel like you should have a smoke free entrance/exit!!! I bring my reusable bags because they still use plastic bags (there are 2 recycling bag containers but it is difficult to safely put bags in the "trash" can.) I find that sales are often advertised but the discount doesn't come up at the register - entire full displays still up but sale is over or multiple item sale doesn't give the full advertised discount. Or sale items are not restocked. Definitely be prepared to use the self checkout because they always only have 1 register open (I go at various times and this is always the case)

Located in the former Harris Teeter building in the growing Westhaven area, this is a gem of a grocery store. And, I can't quite understand the mediocre star ratings. My experience, having visited 4 times now, is that this is a great place to shop! Brightly lighted, reasonably spaced aisles - although a few are a bit of a squeeze (like the candy aisle--lol). You will find a range of fresh vegetables and fruit right inside the entrance. There's also a nicely stocked cheese section directly ahead. (Be sure to check between this main hard cheese display and the deli counter to the right, because the soft cheeses are in stand alone refrigerated section between the two. Deli counter, with a very helpful and personable server has a fair selection of Boars Head and the like meats and cheeses available cut-to order. The salad bar also has small containers for olives and other loose-refrigerated condiments if they're on your shopping list. (Canned olives and pickles are a few aisles over. Fresh meats - good looking selection. (I must admit I did not look closely at seafood - so no judgement here.) Fresh baked breads, including baked in-house and La Brea - ok but not exemplary. The other aisles and departments in the store are jam-packed with canned and boxed goods galore. Worth a trip even if just to check it out.

The 3 minute microwave pizzas made by Kroger say they have a crust crisping platform. It does not work. the pizza crust is all soggy and gross. thanks reading my review on the 3 minute microwave pizzas.

Should be able to expect more due to the location. Terrible meat and fruit selection. Even target has better. We end up having to shop elsewhere despite the convenient location.

I have had to return meat more than once. Also, produce has not been fresh several times. Even though I live in the neighborhood, I will no longer do the majority of my shopping there.
