I feel I have officially turned back the clock. I have worked out for years ant various gyms and would always get hurt, leaving me with chiropractor, massage bills and even knee surgery. The coaches are so attentive they correct me 50 times to make sure I get it right and I can say this is my first gym experience I haven’t been Injured and onward with my progress!Thank you Iron Tribe Franklin!

I have been at IT Franklin for a year now. My goal was to lose weight but maintain muscle mass, being in my 50s that is hard to do. Coach Austin set me up to strengthen my weakest body parts. He also put me on a nutrition path and we have weekly checkins to enforce behavior. While in class the coaches are checking for form and pushing you to build weight safely. Currently I am down 16 pounds of fat with no muscle loss, clothes fit better and I enjoy my fitness routine now more than ever. Looking to lose another 14 in the next 12 months.

Best thing my wife and I have done in 20 + years….we are two months in and could not have had a better experience! She had never been in a gym, and I had not been in decades…we have lost weight, added muscle, and as important regained range of motion from a knee surgery… Long way to go, but we are hooked…Every coach has been patient, knowledgeable, encouraging and just plain nice people….no matter what stage your conditioning, this is an awesome place!

I am happy to have found Iron Tribe Fitness of Franklin. I tried to get in shape on my own but nothing really worked. I'm a 47 year old man and have lost about 30 pounds and my body fat percentage dropped from 25% to 14.8% in less than 18 months.I used to feel sluggish every afternoon and didn't have much energy, and going up 3 flights of stairs to my office would get me out of breath. Now that the trainers at Iron Tribe Fitness of Franklin have worked with me on nutrition I have energy in the afternoons and going up the stairs is no problem.Plus they are cool people to workout with, working out with people sure does make working out more fun and adds accountability to show up and motivation to finish the workout. I would never grind it out by myself in the garage.My first week there I felt like I was gonna pass out, my first month I was sore everyday and the workouts were hard. But after about a month I quit dreading them and now I look forward to going- the workouts still are hard but you get used to them and they become fun, the hardest part is starting. It's the start that stops most.

This has been my first 6 weeks at Iron Tribe, they are friendly, they help you stay on track to achieve your fitness goals whether it be weight loss, muscle gains or both. I appreciate that they spend the time to explain best workout and diet methods and answer all your questions. If you are thinking about joining a gym that focuses on fitness classes (they have both small group or large group options) I would absolutely give Iron Tribe a try!

Amazing atmosphere and coaches who help guide and mentor you. I was pushed towards my goals and never felt any kind of stress or anxiety. Cannot recommend this gym enough.

I went to Iron Tribe for 3 years and had to take a break for medical reasons. I’m back, and so happy to be in the community that is so rich at Iron Tribe. You feel seen and known there. It’s a fantastic gym with personal attention and fun group classes that motivate you to go beyond what you’d do alone. I love it!

Best part of Iron tribe is the community and group accountability - working out with others that have similar goals makes you stronger and healthier, alongside the coaching and 1-1 meetings with the staff to assist with the nutrition and habit forming.

I cannot express enough what the group of coaches has meant to me over the last 5 months. They have been nothing but positive, supportive and fun, even when I would get off-track with my food. They are constantly showing ways to improve and challenge myself, my habits and my mindset. They always have an alternative move if the one you’re supposed to do doesn’t work out for you. Everyone there has the same goal - to be healthy, so everyone is working hard at their own pace. The coaches are so good, you almost feel like their only client. It’s a fun atmosphere where you feel like you're working out with friends.

Iron Tribe has been instrumental in helping and inspiring me to create a healthier lifestyle. In the beginning there were so many days where I didn’t feel like I had the time or energy to workout but then I reminded myself that all I have to do is show up. Just drive myself to the gym. That was the mindset I had until it became something I wanted to do and look forward to doing. If I don’t get enough workouts in within a week I really miss it and everyone at the gym. The coaches are all awesome, they really know what they are doing, they create great workout plans. I’m super thankful for Iron Tribe and everyone there.

The coaches at Iron Tribe Fitness in Franklin have changed, possibly saved, my life. I had no idea what Iron Tribe was about until a friend posted a progress photo. As a former D1 Athlete, 2-time cancer and major trauma survivor, I was desperate to reclaim my body. I’d worked with a trainer 1:1 for 2 years and was frustrated at losing/gaining the same 4 pounds over and over. I was tired and hungry all the time. Nothing worked. BUT, I called and scheduled an appointment to talk with Austin the ITF manager that day.I unloaded way more information than he asked, so he could get a full picture of all I'd tried, all that had failed and a glimpse into my super competitive temperament that's also really hard on myself. When I asked him if he THOUGHT they could help, he didn't hesitate but jumped right into showing me HOW.I knew I would either be frustrated that my body wouldn't keep up, or kill myself trying to prove I could in the larger classes, (modifying can often feel like failing to me), so I opted for the PRIME classes, which are completely customized, and allow me to work out in a 1:4 trainer/athlete ratio, far less intimidating for me just starting back. Still skeptical since nothing had worked in over 16-years, I signed up for the lowest possible commitment level. My initial assessment was with Samantha who was kind and motivating. From there, Austin became my 1:1 coach and started developing my programming.I wasn't sure what I'd gotten myself into and my first few workouts with Zach, Austin and Kasper were (to me) humiliating. I wanted to quit. About a month in, though I was feeling stronger, I wasn't seeing much movement on the scales. I knew myself well enough to know if I didn't see progress FAST, I would feel defeated and disappear. I decided to upgrade to the most number of days for an entire year. In our 1:1 sessions, I've talked about the intensity of the workouts, knee trouble, nutrition and even some personal things carrying the weight has kept me from doing. I don't trust easily, but Austin made it easier to try.In just under 4 months, I dropped 2 pants sizes, and 20lbs of fat! And guess what... I did it while EATING REAL FOOD! HA! I had to increase my carbs, protein and calories and thought he had lost his mind, but it worked. I've since learned my body wasn't getting enough fuel to function and was burning muscle for energy. It amazes me that I've gone from not being sure I could handle walking into a gym, to looking forward to crushing it with Austin, and Kasper! There are other great coaches, like Cade in the early mornings who is a joy to be around, but they are my primary motivators now and are taking me further than I ever believed possible. They laugh at my eye rolls, sense when I'm frustrated, but continue to show up, meeting me where I am, while challenging and motivating me to go further. They believe in me way more than I do, and NEVER give up on me.I’ve met some wonderful people that I LOVE training beside, and cheering on. It’s a community like none I’ve experienced. I’ve felt zero judgement and an infinite amount of support. My goals have shifted from just showing up, to some things I want to accomplish in the next 2 years. I love it and hope I’m able to continue showing up as often as possible.It's one thing to trust them with MY health, but now my 16-year old has joined and is training with me too! Kasper is a rockstar for him and we are doing more physically together as a family than we have in years. Our road trips usually consisted of maybe a swim and definitely a nap, but most recently we opted for a bike ride around the city we were visiting! We laugh more, sleep better, feel great and are actually looking forward to the future! I can't say enough about how grateful I am for ITF!

Iron Tribe is the best, and ITF-Franklin is the best of the best. Located in a historic firehouse in downtown Franklin it is much more intimate than big box gyms while being much nicer and well maintained than other crossfit type facilities. The Coaches are invested in you and your goals whether that's losing weight, building muscle, or simply establishing a new fitness regime. Join Our Tribe!I've been a member here for five years now. This is the most consistent I've been with a workout regime in my life and I credit ITF, the coaches and our incredible community for the sustained results.
