Just always awesome. We go to the same person every year and every time it is fast, reliable and accurate. Also we joke around and have have fun while she does our taxes. Who knew that taxes could be fun!

Last year I send this office my information for preparing my taxes. Everything was online. I review my taxes and a 12k deduction is left off and the lady put in the wrong amount for contributions. When I closed the review session I called the office. The return was automatically submitted. I had to pay 39 for an amendment. She also made a mistake and on contribution letter it indicated x amount was given and this is the irs letter for contributions over $250. She plugged in $250 and not the amounts. She thought the amended return was submitted. After 2 months I send a manually copy. I purchased the insurance and HR did not honor because it's not an error. Over a year late and I am still waiting on my refund. The original tax indicated I owe the IRS and amended return shows a refund. I've gotten collection letters and had to take a payment plan to give the IRS time to process. The IRS is so broken 75% of the people I finally talk to want me to pay the original filing. I called Tuesday to spend 4 hours on hold and after 4 hours I get disconnected. I went to the office, " your amended return has been assigned to someone is all they will tell me. It's so scary such a dysfunctional agency controls so much money! I paid HR $350 to plug numbers in and not stand behind insurance!

I had a appointment with H & R Block to file my taxes. I explained to the senior tax analyst, at the Highway 96, Franklin, TN office, that I had previous tried to file online and was unsure of the result I received stating I owed money this year, and in previous years I always received a refund, so I wanted a professional to make sure it was correct before I filed. Her immediate response was "whatever result I received was correct" without her looking at a single piece of paper that I had with me or putting any information into the filing system, or knowing what filing system I used previous. I asked her if she could look at what I had put in and she stated "she did not know that software so she could not look at it, but was sure it was correct." She then proceeded to tell me that "she did not want to start over with H & R Block if i was not willing to file and pay for the service of her to do so", which was never discussed prior to that statement. I was onsite, in the office to file that day, with the intention of paying. She then proceeded to tell me that she was "just to busy and had to much work to do" and she "just did not want to do it". Being it was the weekend, I had to wait until Monday to call and ask to speak to the office manager. After three phone calls I finally got a answer and was told "he was not in the office" on this day. I got his name and and asked when he would be in. The response I received was "that's the problem, there is no one here". I called the next day again to speak with the office manager. After four(4) phone calls, I got a answer. The response I received was again "he's not in today." I proceeded to ask when would he be in and the response was "I don't know". I called again that afternoon, the manager was still "not in". Eight(8) phone calls, five(5) of them went unanswered, and a flat out refusal to help. Completely unacceptable customer service!

I was charged over $300 for one hour of their time to do a W2 and 1099. I was definitely ripped off. To charge that amount of money is horrendous.
