I had the worse retail experience of my life. I shop at your store quiet often. I had a return, so when I walked in my shopping cart was filled with my items to be returned, as I walked in a man to the left gave me a death stare, I continued to shop around as I came up to the register, he flew from the other side of the store to where my cashier was, he took the receipt out of his hand and said I'm not returning this, it's been more than 30 days, he was extremely rude and kept saying nope sorry new policy, not going to return this, I said I'm allowed a store credit, he said no you are not. Even the cashier looked shocked and baffled, he told me to leave and gave dirty looks,I said I want a supervisor, he said he was. I went to my car,and screenshot your return policy after 30days, showed it to him and he was still denying it, and said he won't help me and called me PATHETIC, he was no professional at all, he told me I wasn't allowed to walk around the store with my returns, I said show me where it says that, he again started to get nasty, I was very scared the way he came at me, and I know he was being very racist. Is this the look and professionalism you want to represent your company. He called me Pathetic
I will be reaching out to my attorney as well
That is unacceptable behavior. Not only was he blatenly rude about the return but to call a patron PATHETIC, that's unheard of. I have attached a picture of your return policy
This guy had a white long beard,bald, and tattoo sleeves on both arms.

Went for the first time the other day and while they have a big selection of clothes and other merchandise, customer service was very lacking. There was no one to answer a question in the back half of the store and the cashier only said "I'm not sure". When looking at clothing, the only other employee we saw repeatedly walked up and wanted us to stop browsing and move, even though every other aisle was empty, it was almost like I was being suspected of shoplifting. The points from my purchase haven't showed up on my app either. Pretty disappointing since it's a cool looking store.

Great Management, Staff, location, pricing and selection, but what’s happened to your cleanliness❔Still a good selection of items except inside and out needs major attention. Unorganized and dirty from the outside entrance to the restrooms….

I have been to a few Gabe’s stores and have always loved them. I haven’t been to this one in a couple of years because we moved from the area. I was there in town today and I looked forward to shopping at Gabe’s. I was very disappointed! So unorganized! Clothing isn’t even sorted by size, you have 2x, 3x, x-small, large, etc all crammed together. And I do mean crammed! I couldn’t even look at some racks because there was so much clothing on there that I couldn’t move anything to look! Underwear and bras are a tangled, jumbled mess. I spent a little over 100 on a few things. BUT, I definitely probably would’ve spent twice that if the store was organized to where I could actually shop and browse!

My friends suggested I go. Glad I did, it reminded me of the old Big Lots before it tried to become "fru-fru". I purchased a few items and would go back, but not much in a hurry.

I have fallen in love with Gabe's! First visited in New Jersey. And next to Ross Dress for Less, it is one store that makes the shopping experience a treat! There are so many treasures. You never know what you'll find! I picked up some make-up items, Dove products (at a great price), and gifts for family and friends. I hope we get a location in the Birmingham area soon!
