I adopted a wonderful dog, Pepper, (aka Penny) in 2014. I had a great experience from talking to the foster to understand the dog to arranging transportation. Subsequently I have stayed in touch with the foster to give her updates.Very strong recommendation for CCR.

Folks were very quick to support our adoption process when we rescued our little Velcro boy Oscar. So thankful to have talked to the foster family to learn a little more about him to help his huge transition from TN to MA.

CCR does not have a physical shelter. Our dogs depend on foster homes to care for them until suitable, adoptive homes are found.
Critter Cavalry Rescue (CCR) is a 501c3 Non-Profit Rescue Organization. Over the last 10 years, CCR's dedicated volunteers fostered and found forever homes for thousands of abandoned dogs.
We are focused on rescuing homeless dogs from high-kill Tennessee shelters, where many loving companions wait in vain for a family to adopt them. On average, CCR rescues over 1,000 dogs every year.
