“Uns interessiert die amerikanische Geschichte, darum haben wir uns das Lotz Haus angesehen. Das Mobiliar ist aus dem 19. Jh. und sehr schön zusammengestellt. Aber das Beste ist unser Führer gewesen (Foto). Er hat die Haustour interessant gestaltet, wenn wir auch aufgrund des Dialektes nicht alles mitbekommen haben. Eine absolute Empfehlung.”

“I always take my special treasures here to be framed, and they do THE BEST work of any framer in the area, hands down. They are also incredibly reasonable, given the quality of work they do. The shop is lovely and they always have unusual items. Absolutely worth a trip!”

“I stopped in last weekend on a girls trip together and we had such fun browsing this store! Unique, obviously hand-picked items throughout the store and excellent customer service, as well. We even literally asked what music playlist they had on because each song was fun and bouncy. I’ll definitely visit again when back in town! Highly recommend you pop in, too.”

“WOW!! What a gem in the heart of downtown historic Franklin. This place is massive and is every antiquer’s dream to browse through. It’s open 7days a week too. Very moderately priced items and great selection that is very well preserved.”

“Amazing pieces to look at but absolutely overpriced on most of the items. I did enjoy looking around though. The shop definitely leans towards European antiques, so if that’s your thing, I would recommend checking them out.”

“this is the place to be for an art and history experience! mel was awesome, so happy to chat with us about not only the beautiful pieces, but also about what brought us to the area. spent a bunch of time there, looking at the ton of art and asking questions about the different subjects, artists, and time periods. big thank you to mel for teaching us about the colonial money, pulling out old texas maps, and helping pretty up an already beautiful hand-colored, framed drawing that i fell in love with (pictured). i will remember the time at rare prints very fondly!”
