Marvin's is a local hardware store that offers a variety of home improvement supplies. Customers appreciate the store's cleanliness and the convenience of being open in the evenings and on weekends, making it a valuable resource in the small town. While some products, especially lumber and trees, are noted for their quality, many customers have expressed concerns about pricing, stating that some items are overpriced compared to competitors. Customer service experiences can vary; while some staff members are friendly and helpful, others may lack competence or professionalism. Additionally, there are complaints about low inventory levels and the store's focus shifting towards clothing, hunting goods, and appliances, which has reduced the selection of essential items. This has led to frustrations among regular shoppers who find themselves making multiple trips for supplies that used to be readily available. Overall, Marvin's is seen as a decent option for quick purchases, but improvements in inventory and customer service consistency are needed to enhance the shopping experience.
Bought landscaping pins. Way to expensive 25 pins per bag for over $11 per bag. I could have bought 100 pins for $15 at Home Depot. I paid over $40. Prices at Marvin's way way to over priced
