This church is where my son's 4-H banquets have been hosted since he was in 4th grade. He is now a freshman in college. It is also where a dear friend's Eagle Scout ceremony was held. Graduation ceremonies, weddings, funerals, etc. are held here, along with trunk-or-treat and other community activities. They have an ESL class, a food pantry, and various other on-going outreach programs. The church has always served as a focal point for emergency supply operations when there have been tornadoes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters. They organize and participate in mission trips here in the States and abroad. I am not a religious person, but I feel that this church is doing good things. I know some of the congregation, and they are genuinely doing all they can to love their neighbors.
