My wife and I live in Maryville but treat ourselves to Fresh Market at least once / month. Had THE very best oak roasted salmon yesterday as well as turkey / Swiss wrap, AND their double chocolate cake is THE bomb!! Major kudos to Kat, Robert, and rest of their incredible team/s!!

I just left the Fresh Market in Farragut. My intent was to but 2 Bistro meals. However to my disappointment there wasn’t a great selection compared to my previous visits and I only got 1. I was there at 2:15 and the case was out of a lot of main dishes and sides. I asked if they had any more and the answer was no! This seemed very odd to me because I usually come at 5PM and all the selections are available. I am extremely disappointed that Fresh Market would not have what they need for the Bistro meals. I have shopped at Fresh Market at least 30 years when there was only 1 store in Bearden.

I have shopped at this location for about three years and love the deli and meat department. Coffee selection is good too. My main concerns are: vegetables are not always fresh. Recent corn in package was spoiled upon opening the plastic covering. And their advertisements can be confusing in the two for one category. For example I bought the two for one crab cakes which was marked on the package at the regular price. Then as expected the check out process took off for one. However in the two for one tropical fruit the package was marked at the reduced price already. Looking at the two for one sign one could miss the other sign below which stated they were regularly double price of the marked. Why mark one way for one BOGO and another way for the other BOGO? If I had seen this second one I would have bought only one fruit container.

So many years I have shopped here and it is satisfying on every level each and every time. I say hello to the orchids as I walk in, I walk through the bright and cheerful store bursting with high quality produce, meat and fish; great takeaways when you don't want to cook; a terrific sushi bar and every ingredient for multiple cuisines; great wine selection and a helpful and knowledgeable staff. I always end up buying far more than I planned haha! It doesn't get any better than the Fresh Market :-)

I have always loved this store for having top quality food but today they not only sold me my Christmas dinner but gave me the best service that anyone can offer. I left my phone in the cart and the cashier that checked us out found it and answered right away when I called to find it. Her name was TJ and we all would be lucky to have someone this honest in our lives. Thank you TJ and you just gave me one more reason to come there....you!!!!!
