Will avoid Benchmark in the future. They told me my insurance would cover things so that I would only pay $10 per visit, but they were wrong. Benchmark bills a month behind, so by the time I knew that my insurance wasn’t covering things I had already gone 3x a week for a whole month. Got slapped with a surprise $1500+ bill that I was not expecting. The two stars is because my physical therapist was great, at least at the start. She worked with me and was helping me. She was knowledgeable and had alternate exercises that were easier but still impactful for me. After several weeks things went downhill and my PT sessions were just reinjuring me. My PT ignored my requests to go easier, telling me that we were “building my pain tolerance” which was news to me as I thought we were still aiming for complete recovery instead of giving up and just exploring my new limits. I believe this change was because Benchmark wants “success” statistics and any kind of longer-term recovery ruins their stats. So this place is great for short term recovery from surgery, but for any long-term issues be careful that they listen to you and don’t decide unilaterally what direction your treatment is going. Also getting your medical records will take months. No other health office I’ve gone too takes this long to fulfill a medical record request. Not a judgment on this specific office, but on the Benchmark brand as a whole. The central records division seemed very disorganized and lost my requests multiple times. The lack of organization was further proven true because they had a data breach a few months back. Benchmark should get a different company to manage patient data, it’s expensive to go here and I expected the parent company to be more professional. So to summarize my experience: the specific employees in this office were good (nice, welcoming, mostly helpful) but the corporate company needs to shape up (handle paperwork better, timely and accurate billing, and don’t be so focused on profits you pressure good PTs to do a bad job).

I wanted to share the positive experience of help and healing I experienced at the N Campbell Station Benchmark PT location. I found this facility to be exceptionally clean and the staff to be courteous and friendly and caring. I would like to particularly mention Tyler Menees, the physical therapist who worked with me. From our first meeting I was impressed how focused he was on listening to my description of my physical symptoms and I felt comforted by his plan of action to help me heal and feel relief. Even while he multi-tasked with another client, he was incredibly aware of my posture and the number of reps I was doing with my exercises as he left my side to deal with another client on their PT plan of action. I left my last session walking tall and feeling greatly healed from the pain I experienced before working with Tyler. I would recommend Benchmark as a place to heal. Barbara Phipps

I honestly cannot say enough good things about benchmark. I started with Laura several weeks ago with a completely frozen shoulder that I thought would never get better. She is an absolute miracle worker! I have such respect for these physical therapists. If I had to do this all over again, Lara would definitely be my go to girl. I feel like I am the poster child for benchmark. Thanks so much Laura you have been amazing!

I have been going to this Benchmark facility in Farragut for the last several months and have enjoyed the treatments I have been receiving especially from Laura, the head of this branch. You could not ask for a more caring individual than her. She treats you with exhausting trials but knows when you're tiring and need a break. She also is not 'soft' on you and demands strict training as she directs. I highly recommend this location and ask for Laura. The other therapists, Katlyn, Kelly, Doig, and Tyler as well as the two girls that sit at the entrance, Megan and Aly, are all so friendly and gracious. Alltogether they make a 'homey' atmosphere to train in. "Go Benchmark"!(Written by a 91 year old patient.)

Needed PT after a shoulder surgery and I have been seeing Doug who is outstanding. I was going to a different place before but I made the right decision changing and going to BenchMark they were awesome. I have recovered so much better then before and have been treated extremely well. Allie was able to fix all my work comp paperwork issues as well, I would recommend this location because the staff here is fantastic

Beware of shady billing practices! I just got a bill saying I owe over $400. This is the FIRST bill I have gotten from them, and my last appointment was over four months ago. I paid all of my copays while I was at my appointments. They are in network on my insurance, yet they want to charge me all this extra. Extremely frustrated, and disappointed in this Physical Therapy group

BE CAUTIOUS! Worst billing service ever!!!I have called the Benchmark with my insurance info and asked for the in network price before my first appointment. I was told that each visit will be 10 dollars co-pay and I did get charged 10 dollars after each visit. After keep visiting every week for half year, I got a their mailed billing for TWO THOUSANDS EXTRA dollars! !!!!! And that is the price after I paid my $10 for every visit. I called their billing service and they said the $10 per visit is the price charged by their front desk which could not represent their billing center, and I have to pay for that two thousands bill. I contacted the insurance firm, and they said the Benchmark Physical Therapy should be responsible for the bill if they had told me the incorrect price. But the Benchmark never gave me any response and keep saying that the person told me the price could not represent the them. The worst thing is that I have introduced my friends to the Benchmark also because they do have very good employees there. And now they also got that SURPRISE BILLINGS at the end of the year….PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS since the bill you paid at the front desk IS NOT THE FINAL PRICE, and the final billing will be sent to you at least after six months!!!

The physical therapists here are the best I have been too. They understood what was the problem and shoot out to fix it. They push you to do your best when your with them and without, they focus on long term relief and short relief. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for physical therapy.

My therapist was Taylor who is the best I have ever had. He is completely tuned in with dealing with post polio and certainly made a difference in my life. We are very blessed to have Benchmark Physical Therapy in Farragut.

I previously had worked with a different physical therapy group before and felt like I was just a job for them to do. I also didn't make any progress with them. This time, with BenchMark PT it was completely different. Tyler was great! He was well knowledgeable, personable, and professional. I felt he was completely interested in my recovery. We made great progress every session. Should I ever need physical therapy in the future I'll definitely come back here.

Good analysis at intake followed with targeted exercises of increasing intensity which led to my shoulder pain reduced to slight discomfort. Plus training to continue exercises on my own and access to web-based exercises. Highly recommended.

Not yet finished with my PT but wanted to write a review on the tremendous amount of progress I have made since seeing the BenchMark team in Farragut.I tore my peroneal tendon while running back early January and have had a very slow recovery until I started going to BenchMark. The ankle injury had thrown off my gait cycle and caused a plethora of issues with my feet, ankles, knees and lower back. I have been able to walk since April but with pain in every step. After being with BenchMark for about 5 weeks now I am able to walk longer and with much less pain. But the real progress was noticed this past weekend when I took my 2 year old son for a walk around the park.We had our usual weekend routine to do a lap around the park with our dogs but that was quickly interrupted when I injured my ankle. But this past weekend I was able to pick up the routine and even surprised myself halfway through the walk because I didn't even think about 1. how far I have walked and 2. that we have missed our 1 on 1 walks for so long but here we were back at it again.Thank you BenchMark of Farragut for helping me move again and most of be able to chase my little man around the park.
