Appalachian trail hiker and had a great experience shipping a box down the trail. Knowledgeable and saved me some money with her shipping recommendation. Southern hospitality!

Jerry and Renee have been rude to my husband and so I filed a complaint on Jerry. Before I filed the complaint I contacted the office to speak with a manager and it just so happened to be Jerry. When I started explaining the situation to Jerry, he immediately became hostile and interruptive. He ended up not even trying to apologize but instead hung up the phone on me. When my husband first addressed what he needed help with, Jerry laughed and said you'll have to pay for it (we needed to return our spectrum equipment as we've just moved to the area and switched carriers, we actually accidentally needed to be at the UPS store) when my husband began explaining that his email said to just bring it in, Jerry became defensive and walked away (Renee contacted me and told me he walked away because he knew he was going to lose his temper.... Highly unprofessional that even your coworkers know how quick you fly off the handle). I'm making this review so that everyone in the area knows to be on alert when entering the building. Not only are they extremely rude and unprofessional they have a cat who freely walks around the inside of the building. No name collar or flee collar visible. I will be taking this higher up because when Renee called me she didn't want to speak with me, she said well I need to speak to Nicholas because he filed the complaint and I said no I filed it on his behalf. She proceeds to say well why did you file it when it has nothing to do with you. On top of this there was already a woman there when my husband walked in and she was walking out. The woman walked back in and my husband said she was apologizing for her behavior so clearly their rudeness and unprofessionalism doesn't start or stop with just my husband. Best of wishes to anyone who has to deal with this office. We've just moved to Erwin and already dread the day we have to use their office again. My husband just contacted the office after I spoke with Renee and just called me and said Renee hung up on me. They failed to tell my husband to pay $25 to have our locks changed for our mailbox so now we have to go Monday to pay the $25 and wait another week to have the locks changed. Highly disgusting to have elder adults treating a young married couple this way.

USPS is the biggest fraud ever in our history. Founded on trickery and corruption still hundred years later still is manipulated to control our society.

They don't know how to do their jobs in the way they should be done! Been getting the same package from the same place for over 2yrs now and for the past 2 months they haven't delivered my package because they don't care to do their job properly. When all they have to do is enter the door to see the apartment numbers and I have a note on said door saying to do so not to mention the mailbox plainly says that there are apartments inside that door. Get it together and put a lil passion into understanding and doing your jobs properly. I mean I've signed an electronic signature for said package and they don't leave it and the people working in the post office don't even know what that is, but, it's a service offered by the UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE which I believe IS WHOM they work for after all.

I come here frequently to drop off packages I sell and all of the staff is very friendly and helpful. If you need help or assistance you should show up in person instead of trying to call them.

USPS is terrible here…. Our envelopes / packages are always ripped or torn open. It’s sad because some of the envelopes we actually want to save for sentimental purposes. We’ve even mailed out some things and were told they arrived completely torn too. So I’m curious at what point on the receiving/sending end do they get destroyed? Delivery is late.. probably due to Covid. Items are post marked from weeks ago. One time we got a church invite to Easter in May.. not helpful ?

Never in my life was I spoken to in such a rude manner by a man at the post office, I was already upset as I have one of those tiny mailboxes in a mobile home park, that you open with a key, they cram packages thats in plastic in there, last winter a coat and 3 shirts, I actually pulled off the button of one of the shirts trying to pull it out, today a family member checked my box, a 14 inch talking stuffed plushie I bought for my daughters birthday crammed in there, with a post it note saying my sidewalk was unsafe due to weeds, that a snake may be in there, my lawn mowing man was here, here every week, the weeds are flowers and ivy, so I ask him if I have to mow them down, he said he was not arguing with me about it and hung up, I have lived here 7 years and never had my landlord complain, very upset

The man who answered the phone could not resolve my problem. I understand why he couldn't, but I don't understand why he had to answer me in such a rude tone. I moved back to TN because of the warm, friendly people. Sadly, they're not located at the Erwin post office.

The post office is okay, but you cannot speak to a person by phone. You have to call an 800 number, and, unless you have a specific question covered by an automated voice, the disembodied operator will not allow communication with a live human. It is very disappointing.
