The new management is literally the best I have ever dealt with!! They will try to figure out every which way they can to get you into a new car. Their attitudes are the best, and the don't judge at you when you walk through the door like most dealerships!!

Came looking to buy, walked around for 30 minutes and not a soul came outside to help us. They all just sat inside and stared at us through the windows.

!!!!! BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP !!!!!!!!!!I had my vehicle towed here after they did their initial inspection(if you can call if that) they told me my rear end, driveshaft, transfer case and transmission. All have failed at the same time and wanted to charge me 13 K for the repair. I have always done my own mechanical work on older jeeps / trucks things like that. So that did not sound right to me and I was charged 180$ for this inspections and work that was completed (what did they do I’m not sure they definitely did not inspect my vehicle or do any proper diagnosis?)I had my vehicle towed from CDJR of Elizabethton to CDJR OF BRISTOL (costed me 100$) And I’m so glad i did after doing their inspection and evaluation they determined all my truck needed was an axle shaft not even the whole rear axle housing like CJDR OF ELIZABETHTON wanted to charge me for I had them go ahead and do the front differential service the transfer case service and fix the axle shaft in the rear end they did a few other little odds and ends, while the truck was there (maintenance stuff) and the total was just under 2500$CJDR OF ELIZABETHTON IS MY LOCAL DODGE RAM DEALER THEY HAVE PERMANENTLY LOST MY BUSINESS. I USED TO GET MINE AND MY FIANCÉ’S CARS SERVICE DONE HERE. I HAVE A DODGE RAM. SHE HAS A 19 CHARGER NOW EVEN IF I HAVE TO GO OUT OF MY WAY I WILL BE TAKING MY BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE. I DO NOT KNOW IF THEY ARE INCOMPETENT AND CANNOT DO PROPER DIAGNOSTICS OR IF THEY WHERE JUST TRYING TO SCAM ME FOR 13K!!BUYER BEWARE IF YOU WERE GOING TO BUY A VEHICLE OR GET SERVICE DONE HERE MAKE SURE YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU’RE GETTING AND WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR VEHICLE PRIOR TO GIVING THEM AUTHORIZATION TO COMPLETE ANY WORKOR SEEK A SECOND OPINION AND SAVE YOURSELF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS!I have my receipts/work order from the Elizabethton and Bristol dealerships and I can provide them to anyone as proof of what my truck actually needed, and what CJDR OF ELIZABETHTON recommended and wanted to charge me for

Absolutely the best place to buy a vehicle

April 2023 by Jake
Came in on my lunch break to have my oil changed, tires rotated, and hopefully have a minor window control switch issue diagnosed. Switch is sticking, truck has 4000 miles. Was given 3 week estimate to have my switch looked at. Was told no one in line for oil changed or back there at all, so I gave the go ahead and ate my lunch in the waiting area. The waiting area is in full view of the work bays. For 20 mins I watched a technician wander around on his phone, raise up the 4 post lifts and lazily sweep under them. Play on his phone, lay against his tool box. Another tech lazily returns from lunch, they chat, and 10 mins after that they finally pull my truck around to the empty shop to start on it. If I’m not important to you, you’re not important to me. Probably be the last time this truck will be here for any maintenance or repairs. Shame too as I advise the rest of our fleet on where to go for this type of work.Services: Oil change

I went in to look at a used Chevy truck and all I wanted to do was just check it out and they had me buying it. I told them not to run my credit report and they said they wouldn't but they did anyway. Don't go there to look at anything because you will be buying it without any warning.

I am Larry and I am the Service Advisor on the Ford side of the dealership. I have to say that for the first time since moving to TN from Charleston, I feel at home and love my job. The people are great to work with and our customer base is second to none. I hope that the customers that have dealt with me so far like my NEVER SAY NO attitude. Anything from a simple oil change to a check engine light, bring it on in. No appointment needed. I am looking forward to a long relationship with Happy Valley Ford and looking forward to seeing and working with all of you great customers!!!

After Grindstaff was brought out by Happy Valley (ZT motors out of Houston, TX) Have you notice most if not all the former employees are gone? Ford people, locate people gone. Prices has increased service has decreased. I brought a new car there and service it there. once i found out why all the employees quit I will never return.

They are awful since z & t bought out Grindstaff's. Tires weren't rotated the past two oil changes and in turn had to buy two new front tires. I could go on and on about things I don't like about them. My car is still under warranty, but I will not be returning to this dealership

Multiple calls were placed to make a service appointment. After a few calls and being transferred around, I was able to leave a voicemail although I’m not sure why. I never received a return call. I called again and after a few transfers, I was able to speak to someone. I tried to make an appointment to have the recall on my backup camera satisfied. This is not even mid February and the soonest I could get my vehicle in was April 5th. I don’t think so. I told them I would go to another dealership. The person I was speaking to merely said “Okay, thank you”. The other dealership made the appointment for the following week. I guess that’s where my next $60K purchase will be too.
