It is an extremely quiet campground/cabin rental. It is backed into a beautiful holler right off 79, very close to all local amenities, McDonald's, gas station family dollar, piggy wiggly, they have alot of seasonal campers, and the cabins are beautiful. You can barely tell you're right next to all the stores, it feels more in the woods for sure.Safety: Def a safe place, 100%

Me and the wife spent two days at the Dixie cabin that they have. And it was awesome. It was nice and quite while we where there. Spent alot of time on their porch swing. Honestly never turned the TV on. Just enjoyed the peace and quit. When we come back to Tennessee we will be definitely staying here again!!! A+

We've just returned from our second stay at Dixieland Cabin Resort. The Shiloh is a lovely cabin that was very clean, well stocked with fresh towels and there were crisp linens on the bed. After a relaxing afternoon, we grilled hamburgers and finished the evening toasting marshmallows in the fire pit at the pavilion just across the way from the cabin. The staff was very friendly, attentive and they wanted make sure that we enjoy our stay. We didn't want to leave and will definitely go back there again soon!Rooms: I've stayed there many times. My cabin was always clean and comfortableSafety: Safety was an important aspect for me. Dixieland is an extremely safe place to stay. Thank you!Walkability: I love that I was able to take a beautiful walk around the property where I felt safe.Noteworthy details: My family loves Dixieland and so do I

I’ve stayed here several times and always have a great experience. I especially love it during fall with all of the color changes. The area is quiet and just what I am looking for to unwind and relax. Thanks for the great place! I’ll be back!

Dixieland Cabins were great. Our cabin had a wrap around porch with an outside table. We ate all our meals on the porch. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Dishes and cookware were available. Comfortable beds and pillows. We appreciated they had a coin laundry available. The host was very hospitable and nice. We were kayaking and this location worked great to paddle in TN and KY. WIFI connection was spotty. Would stay there again. Thanks to Dixieland.

Beautiful location! The cabins are gorgeous and with amazing amenities. I stayed in the Whiskey Barrel, it’s a cute tiny cabin. Perfect for a short getaway. The owner is very sweet as well.

Great cabins; horrible manager. She interrupted our evenings on every occasion. We stayed Friday through Monday to celebrate 2 milestones with family: my sister’s 40th birthday and my nieces baby shower (the first baby in their generation)! The Saturday night, I stayed in a tent next to our cabin with my sister to be closer to nature and spend quality time. Instead of a gently rising Sun and birds, I was awakened before dawn by the manager’s headlights. She had her vehicle on for a half hour before she left, shining her lights directly on our tent from 3 cabins down. That evening, during the only nightcap of the weekend for our family, she came to discuss a credit card charge. She had already charged my mom Thursday evening before our arrival and tried to charge her again on Sunday, not realizing her error, and the duplicate charge was declined. She had apparently tried multiple times and the charges both went through the following week. She refunded the duplicate charge, two weeks later to the wrong person because she mixed up the last two card numbers. I am still not sure that my mom had this corrected yet. Also, while the manager was at our cabin by the front porch, where she interrupted our evening once again, I took the liberty of letting her know that although we liked the cabins very much, the top bunk needed a rail because no one felt safe sleeping up there and that under the sink smelled of mold or mildew. She replied that she is aware of those issues and they are on the list of things to do.I am appalled at her lack of professionalism, the inability to prioritize her tasks, and her disorganization. We planned this reunion for months. Those matters should have been handled prior to our arrival. Weeks later, I am still baffled at the managers audacity to not only be rude enough to wake up campers before dawn on a Sunday morning before Labor Day and to also interrupt that very same evening to discuss matters that should have been discussed in private at the office during daylight hours, perhaps at checkout. Not on a Sunday night at 9PM. Susan, you are not qualified. Despite you, we enjoyed our family time. We will definitely not be staying there again as long as you are working / living there.

Even if the cabin doesn't meet my expectations the lady on the phone has. Had a medical emergency so we wouldn't be getting in until later she explained everything and ensured I knew what cabin was ours very sweet kind and understanding! Sometimes having the nicer place doesn't mean everything!

We had a surprise celebratory weekend for my husband’s 60th birthday. Our children & grandkids surprised him, Ms. Suzanne was aware and kept it quiet. The cabins are rustic with all amenities provided. The cabins are right off the main road but are set up against the woods, they truly are really nice. The pavilion has a picnic table, a bar like table that we used for a serving table- placed some of our food on- Im not real sure what kind of gas grill it is but it is new & big. We had about 28 people & our son was able to cook enough food on this grill for all of us. There are 2 fire pits there as well with plenty of fire wood that we gathered from the woods or you can purchase some from front office. Our stay with our kids & grandkids was truly an amazing experience that we won’t forget!! We stayed 1 nite without everyone & it was very peaceful & quiet. If your wanting a to have a peaceful quiet time or looking for a place to gather the family together this is the place to go!! We highly We highly recommend these cabins & this experience!! Ms. Suzanne was readily available whenever needed. We Thank you very much and look forward to seeing you again!!Thank you very much for everything!!James & Jan Pate!!
